I crochet and love adding faux fur pom poms to the tops of hats I make. They can be hard to find in stores and online it can be hard to figure out if you're buying the right size or not. I do like the size of these! They could work on a variety of things and a variety of hat sizes (depending on your preference). I also really like that you can remove them to wash the hat. Very handy! I've included a picture of a gray pom pom on an adult slouchy hat I made. Hopefully that helps you gauge the size a bit. I would definitely recommend these! I plan on buying more myself :)

These are the perfect pom poms for my crocheted hats! Fluffy, full, no shedding, and great size for any hat. Female part of snap is securely sewn to pom poms and male part snaps on firmly. Will buy these again, as well.as the other colors available.

These are a little smaller than expected for adult sized hats but would be perfect for a child's hat. The colors are beautiful and I would order again. As someone else suggested, I used a blow dryer to fluff them up a bit more. Love that they're detachable, just remember to not sew the piece that goes into the hat upside down as I did...🤦🏾🤦🏾 three different times

These are perfect for my crafting needs in every way! The variety of colors included in the mixed bag go perfectly with a wide variety of colored hats I make, meaning not a single one goes unused. And the detachable snap is a game changer as I can advertise that the hats I sell are washable without worrying that the quality of the Pom Pom will be compromised - an all around win!

I've been crocheting hats this year and it seems the current trends are for faux fur pom poms in lieu of the old-fashioned ones made with yarn. I do think they add a certain classiness to my work and broaden its appeal. I haven't used these yet, but hope to in the next few weeks. What I like best is that they come with a snap already sewn to the base with the other half in a bag to be sewn onto the hat, making them easily removable. Based on the "how-to's" I've seen on this new rage of pom-poms, the faux fur ball is stuffed with cotton to make it round, so throwing one of these into the washer could be a disaster for not only the fur, but in the amount of time it takes the core of the pom-pom to dry. I love the idea that the pom-pom can be popped off while the hat is washed and then snapped back on, looking as good a new. In addition, these pom-poms are a generous palm-full size, suitable for any hat.

The pompoms are very attractive and are a good size for hats. One thing I was attracted to was the the 2- part clasp to attach them to a hat or other item. I am very disappointed that the clasp is too thin to hold through a layer of yarn. I had difficulty attaching to the top of my crocheted hat, but was able to do it. The first time I wore that hat the pompom fell off. I have now attached it with fabric glue. Fingers crossed that this works!🤞

So I was about to throw out a bunch of old ball caps but then I decided to repurpose them, and cut a small hole in the top of the hat where that button is, and applied beautiful puff balls to each hat. I have been getting SO many complements on my puffball hats, it’s unbelievable. Some of the thicker hats made the puffball snaps pop open all the time, until I added a blob of superglue/contact cement into the snap before closing it and now none of them fall off. Super cute

I make a lot of knitted hats and these are the best faux fur Pom poms I’ve found. The size is just right and doesn’t over power the hat. The snaps secure the pom poms in place better than sewing them on. The eyelets are big enough to use yarn to attach. Follow the directions to fluff with a hairdryer and they look great. Can’t beat the price!!

I was impressed with these. They look.great & are easy to attach.The a snap is a nice tight fit so the pompom doesn't wobble around once attached. The holes on the bottom snap piece are large enough to fit a needle & yarn through a few times for a secure hold. I loved these so much I've ready ordered more. Really fast shipping as well. These Pom Poms are excellent for hats! Great size, not too big/heavy and not too small. I use on adult and children’s hats. Sure they are squished when they arrived, but they puff up beautifully with a quick blow dry! Awesome to have the snap for quick/simple swapping out colors on your favorite hats and removal for washing! Super fast shipping! Definitely recommend! Have ordered a few times and will order again!

Item arrived very quickly, sooner than expected. I've now used these on a few hats that I've made. The tab is easy to sew on the top of the hat and the pom pom can be taken off very easily. Because the pom pom is removable, you can easily choose to snap on a different color pom pom. Also, if you want to wash your hat without the pom pom, you can just remove it. For the price and the variety of colors included, you cannot go wrong. I would definitely recommend this product.
