A little zhuzh for your hair
I buy the gold, spray it on after a shampoo or for a special occasion. A short spritz does NOT make the head look metallic or gilded - it just adds subtle highlights. Very pretty. It's not an expensive item and is totally worth the price. My hair is dyed medium brunette.

Actually showed up on dark hair
My son wanted purple hair for a dress up day at school. He has very dark brown hair. I didn't expect it to show up so well! Perfect for what he wanted. Over spray can be an issue. We used a piece paper to keep it from going everywhere.

Perfect for Kids
I used the gray for my son for the 100th day of school to help him look like an old man. I had to use more than I expected, but it worked great. Make sure you give a few minutes to set before you touch it or it will wipe right off. Washes off skin easily.I subtracted a star because I had to shampoo his hair thoroughly twice to get all of the spray out and the next day I noticed that he was still a little gray on the ends.

Growing in Gray or In Between Gray Colorista is For You
The media could not be loaded. I’m at a point in my life where I want to go Gray completely but it’s taking forever for me. I couldn’t find any products that I would trust to do on my own and the person who styles my hair isn’t really familiar with gray so I don’t want to take any chances.I decided to give Colorista a try. I really like the silver sheen that it makes on my brownish gray roots. The beauty about this product is that it washes out soon as you’re done with it.If you want to explore and get an idea what your gray hair could look like, or you want to go gray just for the fun of it, or do this temporarily. I really think this is a fabulous product for those reasons.I plan on using this product for the time being until I can find another way to go Gray.🩶

Great color - Easy to use - hard to get out of hair
The short review for this product is this: it's easy to use and the color is great, but the color rubs off onto anything it touches while it's in your hair and it's difficult to wash out of your hair (it washes out of clothes and towels without a problem). Read on for details. The product was easy to use -- just spray it on. The can shows that the color will be easier to see on light colored hair - my hair is medium-to-dark brown, and the color was exactly what I expected. I got the hot pink color and it was obvious that I had color in my hair, but it wasn't as vivid as it would be if I was blond. I'm not unhappy with that, though. There are pictures on the can, so I knew what to expect. I sprayed the last 2-3 sprays of color on my mom's hair, which is a nice silvery white, and it showed up great on her hair. So, I give it 5 Stars for ease of use, informing about the brightness of color, and for the color itself. As far as that goes, it's a great product and I'd recommend it.The reasons for 1 star (which averaged to the 3-star score I ended up giving it):1. The color gets on everything! It rubbed off on the t-shirt I was wearing, then on my underclothing, so I waited until the absolute last minute to put on my shirt (which was white). On the way to the event, I draped a towel around my shoulders between my hair and my shirt to reduce how much got on my shirt, but I also draped a towel over the car seat so the seat wouldn't end up pink. I kept expecting the color to "dry" and stop transferring to everything it touched, but it never did.2. Bonus Points -- it washed out of everything beautifully. You can't tell that the clothes I was wearing ever had pink hair color on them. I washed them as I normally do and added a bit of Oxy to the load and they came out looking great.3. The color took FOREVER to get out of my hair. It is advertised as coming out in 1-2 washes, but that was not the case for me. In the course of about three showers, I washed my hair at least 2-3 times in each one, using my regular shampoo. The color became not-so-obvious, but my hair was still sticky and difficult to brush. It wasn't sticky like it would stick to the wall, more like it had post-it note glue all over the ends. I would pull it over one shoulder to brush it, but in moving it to behind my shoulders, it would get tangled and have to be re-brushed. (If you've ever seen The Princess Bride, it felt like my hair was going to break my brush like it did when the hair guy brushed Mia's hair.) I had only wanted it on the lower portion of my hair, so I covered the top of my head with a towel, and I'm very glad I did that because I can't imagine trying to brush hair that sticky from top to bottom.4. It also caused my hair to come out in strange clumps. Let me be clear: this product DID NOT cause my hair to fall out. It's more like my hair fell out normally, the way hair does every day, but because it was sticky, it stayed on my head longer than it should have, so I'd get clumps on my brush instead of the long strands I usually get. Or a strand would slip down and tickle my arm, so I'd go to pull that one out and get 5-6 strands. Again, the product did not cause any hair loss at all - it caused the already loose hairs to stick to the other hairs so they came out in odd ways.I finally got the sticky out by washing my hair with Dawn dish soap. This is after washing it six or more times with shampoo. So, nearly two weeks after I put it on and those many shampoos later, I took the advice of a hairdresser friend and used Dawn. The first time I did, the suds were a vivid pink, like a Valentine's conversation heart. I was amazed! I'd already washed my hair so many times, how could there be that much color left? I washed it with Dawn three more times, and there was only the barest hint of pink in the suds. Then, because I know the dish soap probably stripped my hair, I washed it with a moisturizing shampoo and applied a moisturizing conditioner separately. I usually use a 2-in-1 shampoo, but thought that my hair probably needed more conditioner than that would provide. I am happy to report that my hair feels normal, totally sticky-free, and it brushed beautifully, so I consider it to be back to normal.I do not regret using this product. The color was great and provided exactly what I needed and wanted for the event. But if I need to add color to my hair again, I will probably look into extensions or a ponytail addition or something that doesn't get my hair so sticky and rub off on everything it touches.

Avoid if possible
EDIT: After washing in the shower with shampoo and conditioner I can confirm that not only does it not all come out with one wash, but whatever is leftover *still isn't fully dried and can leave blue marks if you touch it*. And I'm not sure why but it leaves a weird texture on my hair as well.Changing my review from 3/5 to 1/5, completely worthless, if you need dyed hair you're better off grabbing a friend and applying at home. Leaving my original review below.-----------------------------I’ll give it points that the color is very vibrant but that’s mainly it. Can’t speak yet on how easy it is to wash out but can confirm a couple notes:- The dye stains like crazy. It’s thankfully easy to wash on hands and skin but it’s been about an hour since applying it as of writing and the dye on my hair still hasn’t fully dried- The can doesn’t have enough to do full coverage unless you have short hair. I’m still skeptical though on how short you need because my hair is only just above shoulder length and it couldn’t even get half of the surface of my hairI think this is only worth it if you can’t have dyed hair for longer than a day and/or only need a small chunk dyed. Otherwise you’re better off just using actual dye and dealing with the new color for a month or so

Pretty rose gold tint
Love this spray! My dark blond hair is rose-gold toned. But, it loses its gloss and gray coverage between appointments. This gives my roots shine and subtley boosts my rose gold tint without looking costumey.I don't know how vibrant/intense the other colors are, or whether they would cling to blonde/bleached hair after shampooing. But this color is subtle, which is what I wanted.
