The media could not be loaded. Very easy assembly. Like Lincoln logs with screws.You’ll need electric screw driver(easier), scissor and or razor blade. And I would suggest 120 grit sandpaper and wood filler for the screws on top. I used 15, 50 pound bags of sand. I’ll buy 5 more bags. It takes 800 to 1000 pounds of sand. Took about an hour to put it all together. Grandkids come next weekend to see the surprise. Cedar smells good, wood was I damaged screws made it nice and snug. Put a beach ball in the middle. Putting cover on is like a fitted sheet, it kept coming off when I got to the last edge lol. But third times a charm. I’m getting an extra cover that’s thicker and to provide extra protection. We get cats birds squirrels and skunks. Also have an oak tree that continuously drops leaves branches and nuts. Also bought a sand broom. I’m very happy with the everything about it. Becarefuk of splinters from top screws.

Bought in April and was finally able to put together today because of all the rain. Laid it all out and locked it together and it worked fine until the last piece. The cut to lock it together was the wrong way so instead of finishing the octagon it made a straight line with the previous piece. My choice was to cut the correct angle or call the manufacturer for a new section. I cut the correct angle and it went together fine.Check all the angles before assembly!Will give further review after use.After a few weeks of use and more rain than we’ve ever had this time of year, the cover just fits, but it feels with water and comes off and then what’s the sand. The corners should have Velcro that could be tightened one put on instead of a small elastic band. I was suggest putting something tall in the middle so the water can run off. This works with a small amount of rain, but it still pulls and comes off the corners and spills into the sand when you get a hard rain. Currently looking for a tarp that can be secured over it.

Easy to build and good quality materials. The sandbox itself is not heavy. We had rain couple days ago and the cover did its job of protecting the sand from getting throughly wet. The cover is not totally waterproof by all means but it is good enough. Place something heavy to hold it in place when you cover it. I used cinder blocks and put them on the benches.The height of the sandbox is about more or less 8 inches. I used 8 bags of play sand from Ace Hardware. (I suggest going no less than 8 bags) The sand was too fine so I wet it just enough that you can start making sand castle.

Perfect size up from the turtle sandbox. My toddler loves it this sandbox. Loads of summer fun.

Very happy! My two toddlers love this sand box, it’s the perfect size for the both of them with room for more. It was very easy to put together and took me about 1 hour. Cover is good but will not stay on during strong winds so we purchased clamps to keep it down. We did staple down the liner as some others suggested.We used 15 bags of sand so 750lbs total
