I have been using this for a month or so. I have a fresh water pond that has crabs in it. The bait pouch broke before I even got it into water. It has very thin thread used to sew it on. The zipper has no stop at the end, so it just slides right off and can't be put back on. I have caught crabs with it, but they shredded the bait pouch. I just tie a piece of meat with some thick twine, and that works. But the crabs made holes in the net after using it the second time. I have had to mend this thing almost every time I use it. However, I have caught about 30 crabs in the pond in the last month. So it works, but you will have to keep mending it.

Good trap for catching mud crabs
A good quality trap compared to others on amazon. This has a large zipper so you can easily place the bait inside the trap and retrieve the catch. I was able to catch mud crabs and shrimp with this though the crabs managed to tear the net and bait bags quite easily. Doesn't seem to be effective for catching fish as they seemed to be able to easily move in and out of the trap. Overall good for around 5 uses and definitely better material than others here but stronger nets would make this a great product.
