ROTO-FAB COLD AIR INTAKE W/OILED FILTER 10161056 2017+ CAMARO ZL1 LT4

Instructions were step by step with pictures. Very easy to follow. I’m pretty mechanically inclined so I went from unboxing to fully installed and driving in an hour. Even for novice gear heads this is very easy to install. The intake looks great and fits great. During the first drive after install I could definitely hear it sucking more air, which made the supercharger sound a bit louder. Exactly what I was hoping for. If you have a 6th gen ZL1 I highly suggest this product.

ROTO-FAB- COLD AIR INTAKE- Purchased this after returning a different intake that I had purchased. Glad I did because this Cold Air Intake by ROTO- Fab fit like a glove and was extremely well made. The install was right on the money and the instructions for installation also was very well written and easy to follow. Take your time with the installation and follow the instruction and your install will look very professional when finished. All the individual parts are extremely well made. Remember when you remove the 2 hood screws to replace them with the supplied 2 screws, the instructions don’t tell you this. Be extremely careful when installing the 5 supplied bolts that screw into the brass fittings on the tube that attaches to the main filter body… it’s very easy to cross thread these screws… if they don’t screw in with ease remove them and start again( take your time with this) use a small handled Phillips screw driver for this procedure then snug them down… don’t over tighten. The install was very simple ( took me about an hour or so) and after completion fit like a glove…. It also looks awesome…. Good luck with the install. I would recommend this product to anybody who has a 2022 Camaro ZL1.

Not worth the money the Camara ZR1 already has a great intake. The ZR1 has its filter enclosed and the RotoFab filter doesn't but once the hood closes now the RotoFab filter now become enclosed.

As described. Perfect fit for the ZL1 with super easy installation 30 minutes! You will need to use a scanner and clear the codes after install or just drive it a few times and they will clear themselves.

Looks good, easy to install. But none of that matters when the hood won't close. I ended up having to bend the supports on the intake shroud and really push the hood down to get it to close. Unfortunately I'm guessing after doing that it's un-returnable. Sounds cool though
