Great sealer!
Had to use this on numerous 1" SS joints and it worked perfectly. I made a test joint and it was rock solid. Part of the test included loosening the cured joint which required a cheater extension on the wrench but I was able to get the joint apart... there was no galling. Isopropl worked very well to remove excess uncured and cured sealer.

Sealed NPT threads
Sealed NPT threads on an automotive fuel line, with no leaks. Before, when I didn't use the sealer, I had seepage.

Great Sealant
For anyone doing steam fittings this is great stuff. We have been putting in a low-pressure steam boiler with a significant amount of piping and have found Locktite 567 to be excellent, good enough that we have purchased another 350ml can.

Best There Is
Best general purpose pipe sealant. Use it for most everything except steam. Only because there are better products for steam.

The only solution to a persistent leak problem
I had a sink in which both hot and cold brass connections to the taps were leaking. I tried different solutions for several months. Teflon tape, polyurethane sealant, pfte dope (white and yellow).. etc. they all leaked. Clearly the connectors were not threaded correctly. Anyway, I got this loctite sealant, and applied/spread generously on the threades. Then I tighted the couplers with 2 wrenches. Finally after 24 hours of cure time I reconnected the water and checked for leaks. Nothing. All super dry. Perfect. From now on I will consider this product also in many other applications.Spring 2025. I lost heating during the winter and the sunroom with the sink froze. The faucets, not the connections, cracked. I was able to remove all the broken parts, put new faucets, and reconnect the pipes. Interestingly, I did not clean the female threads which still had the old sealant. A new application on the male side contain enough solvent to soften the old sealant and mix with the new one. I’m back in leak free world. 1 hour work to change the cracked faucet. Not even under freezing this sealant leaks.
