HYELEC DC Power Supply, 50V 6A Adjustable Power Supply
I love this power supply. Wish I would have bought one earlier. Easy to use in constant voltage or constant current mode. It has course and fine adjustment of voltage/current. I like the output enable/disable button, so you can adjust output value before powering output. The digital display makes it easy to read voltage, current, and power. I often use the supply set to the required circuit voltage and then read consumed current/power from the digital display. Conversely you can set current value, like for a LED and read the displayed forward LED voltage. Making it easy to calculate required current limiting resistor for supply voltage. My old power supply had just course analog voltage display. So, I would have to insert multimeters to make these simple measurements. How much current does a dc motor take at a range of voltages? Very easy to read off of the digital display. So far, this thing works great, no problems.

Stable and clean DC current at high voltage levels.
Does what it says with great accuracy. I used this to balance a replacement high voltage battery section in an ev battery. The voltage output and amperage is very close to exact. I charged at 48v .2amp for 3 days to safely bring up the cells to match the other better sections. Impressed on how well this worked. I did unplug the unit over night as it did have a connection even with output off. Not a big deal though.

This one is great so far...
I'm on day 2 of use. I got this for charging batteries and some home-use projects. I chose this power supply because it had simple push-buttons to turn on/off limiting and output and it has some memory slots for storing battery charging settings. The instructions are well translated and the unit works well and is very responsive when toggling the buttons. It is running very quiet, (no fan so far), it's quieter than my incandescent light bulbs! AC cord and power leads seem to be good, neither is heating up under load or giving me any concerns. This seems like a really good value if it survives.

A great supply for the money.
My go to Power Supply, even though I have many. Easy to use, and very versatile. I even use it to charge my 12V sealed lead acid batteries, set the current limit to a c10 rate and the voltage to 13.8V and it just works. Runs nice and cool and is easy to use. And with all this said, I am picky, I even have a $1200 HP lab supply and use this one much more often.

Extremely accurate voltage
I like almost everything about this power supply. The output voltage is extremely accurate throughout the range. Load regulation is good, noise is good enough, changing settings is intuitive. It's silent when not working hard, which is a relief compared to my noise Tektronix power supplies. The only downside is the turn-off voltage (a steady +17 mV on my unit), which isn't a problem once you know about it. At this price, it's an amazing value. I expect to buy more of these units.

A Good Buy
We got this DC power supply for a friend who repairs electronics. The price was right and so far he really likes it. It's light, small, and easy to carry. It's also pretty quiet. The stated max voltage and current are 50V and 6A, but the max power output is 150W so be aware that you can't max out voltage and current at the same time. But the available range covers the DC requirements of the home electronics that he works on so it's been working out well. He appreciates how this unit clearly displays all three parameters, which is very convenient. It's also convenient that the voltage and current can be adjusted in small increments of 0.1. And this unit also has a standard 5V/2A USB port that you can use to charge a cell phone or tablet. Overall, this is a good buy for people who like to open up and fiddle with electronic devices.

Great PS for the price, quiet, lightweight, precise adjustments, controls feels solid, good readability display. I didn't test it under full load for extended time yet. Only downsides so far are that declared current 6A is only available up to 25V, then it goes 5A at 30V, 3A at 50V. Also when "output" is switched off with front button, there is still ~500mV measurable at output contacts, which can be problem for someone.
