A lot of bell for your buck!
A great little bell for your bike (regardless of your bike choice). I currently us this bell on my gravel bike (2018 Trek Crossrip 2). It is loud enough to let pedestrians and other cyclist know that you're approaching. The installation of this bell is easy and comes with the Allen wrench to complete the installation.

Nice sound
Satisfying ping sound, installation was a little but odd. It seems solid like it will last.

great out of the box - will it hold up?
Compared with 10 years ago, I'm doing less riding in the streets and more on pathways where I share space with pedestrians, dog-walkers, skateboarders, etc. Some of them are still paying attention to their surroundings (as opposed to plugging their ears with speakers or staring at their "smart phones"), and often they appreciate a gentle warning when a cyclist is approaching from behind. So... I decided to get a bell.I immediately eliminated the $50 (!!) bell that this one imitates. (I'd carry a spoon and ding it on my handlebars, before I'd drop $50 for a bell, for cryin' out loud!) And, I didn't want a great big bell, although some of them sound beautiful. Turns out there are lots and lots of options in small bicycle bells. I decided to take a gamble on this one, hoping a $14 bell will hold up better than the $5 or $7 model.Out of the box it looked nice - I got it in silver, to go on my gray bicycle. There aren't any instructions, but it's pretty intuitive. It does come with a small allen wrench, which is the only tool needed to install it. It also comes with two stainless steel wrap-bands, to accommodate a wide variety of handlebar diameters and mounting options. I installed it, and went on a test ride... came home and installed it in a different place. I should be good now. It has a pleasant resonating tone, and is loud enough to be heard by people who aren't totally absorbed in Smart Phone World or deliberately impairing their hearing. My only real concern is some negative reviews - people who report the bell failing after a short time. The vendor claims that "we have improved the production process and improved the quality of the bicycle bells. If the bell has a manufacturer defect, we provide free replacement service." I'm counting on that. I'd expect a $50 bell to last forever, and be handed down to my kids and grandkids. I expect a $14 bell to last a good long time. (My bicycle gets reasonable care and doesn't get parked out in the elements.)If I have reliability problems, I intend to return and update this review. In the meantime... no news is good news, and I'll be out there dingin' away with my "Pioneeryao" bell.

small cute bell
The bell is small but pretty loud. I measured the sound level from a distance of about 6 feet inside a moderately sized room and the max reading was 82 dB. If you push the lever too low, it may stay open without hitting the bell. This turns out to be a nonissue after installation because the lever would touch the handle bar and could not be depressed further. The spring action of the level/hammer seems reliable. I noticed that a few reviewers complained about the brass hammer disc coming loose. I do not understand why the wire wrapping around the disc is so short (see amazon photo) although everything seems secure for now. My first suggestion to the manufacturer is that the metal wire wrapping around the brass disc should be made a little longer, at least covering 3/4 of the disc circumference rather than only 1/2.I tested the product with a magnet and all materials turned out to be nonmagnetic except for the black-colored frame located inside the bell. My second suggestion to the manufacturer is that this frame should also be made of stainless steel because it may rust eventually. The stainless steel band for fastening the bell to the handle is quite narrow: 5/32" or 4mm. This is good for me because I can put it between the tiny space between the brake and shifter on the handle bar. Two bands were included, one short and one long. A rubber strip with glue on one side was also included although I did not use it. Overall, for the price I am satisfied with the quality of the product.

Elegant, simple bell, but not the loudest
I have one of these bells on each of my bikes and I've put them on several friends' bikes as well. This is a great bell to use when riding on a path with walkers or other slower cyclists. I can "ting" it a few times and the people can hear where I am and they move out of the way. Much better than shouting "On your left" and having them turn around and walk right into me! Not the loudest bell, so no good for getting the attention of people in cars, for example, but for pedestrians and other cyclists, it works very well. I especially like the simple and sturdy design - I really don't expect these to break or fail under normal use. Comes with two straps to fit both older skinny handlebars and newer fat bars.
