Right ear broken after 3 months - but replaced by company
I enjoyed using these earbuds until the right ear stopped working about 3 months after I bought them. I'll be requesting a new pair using the 1 year warranty policy, if they give me a new one and it lasts longer this will be worthy of 5 stars.Update: they were happy to send me a new pair, which are now in the mail. Thanks Tony!

Great bass focused sports buds.
BASICALLY they're great non-rain sports earbuds if you favor bass, isolation, don't need a mic, and aren't ridiculously tall. Their quality is unmatched at the price range and speciality. Customer service is great if you contact Tennmak through Amazon for utilization of the 1 Year Warranty, and they're at least worth a try even if you don't like the frequency response. These new 2017 models are just like the 2016 models I know and love. I'm familar with the sound of these earphones, so for those looking to compare, there are a few distinct differences:- Thinner cable- Slightly differently shaped eartips- Improved MMCX cable connection- Slightly recessed speaker mesh (to protect it)- Different branding on the side of each driver-Slightly narrower earhookAs far as the Tennmak Pro in general, it is a really strong fitting earbud with a great bass response, to put it simply. Over-ear hooks are nice because you can keep them deployed without them dangling in front of you or hanging awkwardly off of your ears by hanging them on your shirt collar (I run them up my shirt while I use them, so this is intuitive). Even if you don't care about that, they allow you to customize fit (by using heat from a hairdryer or something). In the box:- Rounded rectangular zipper case (same as 2016)- Small eartip box with 1 foam pair and a few differently sized silicon pairs- 1 Year Warranty cardGood Stuff:- Great bass response and isolation for earbuds (with tight fit)- Low cable noise conduction, tangle resistant, adjustable hook fit- Removable drivers (though I find this somewhat useless)- 45 degree angled jack and good stress reliefBad Stuff:- No mic or remote control (I actually like it better without it, though)- Somewhat short cable (silver version is longer, but I'm 5'5" and the black works perfectly from head to pocket)- Not Comply compatible and minimal selection of eartips (though they are randomly compatible with 1More Triple eartips, so you could try those on comply or use 1More stock tips)- Some quirky peaks in treble frequency range makes equalization important (at least for me, an audio enthusiast)Overall, from my research, these are the best pair of over-ear hook style earbuds you can find for the price range except for the KZ ATE or ZS5/6, both of which are different price ranges and sound styles. The next best earbud of this style is going to be another $100 up in price. I prefer these because of their fit, bass performance, style, and value. Do they compare to my 1More triple driver earbuds? Not necessarily. Do I like them equally? Yes.

Audio cutting out after ~3 months
I've been on an endless search for earbuds that don't die on me after some time. I listen to music/podcasts for several hours a day (6+) at a desk job and have gone through so many earbuds, usually by one of the channels cutting out so you have to bend the cable in such a way to make a connection. I'm far from rough with the headphones - they don't get wadded up in my pocket or anything like that, they just sit on my desk when they're not in my ears. Needless to say, it's been a frustrating endeavor.I eventually decided that I wanted to get some earbuds with replaceable cables so I could swap the cables out if they started going out on me so I wouldn't have to buy a new set entirely. I looked around a bit and settled on these as they were inexpensive, had decent reviews, and detachable/replaceable cables. The sound quality on these has been good and they do a good job isolating outside noise. These are also my first earbuds where the cable wraps above and around the ear and, while it took me a little while to get used to that, they were comfortable to wear for long periods of time. My primary use for these was at work, so it was common to wear them an average of 5 hours a day.The problems began about 2.5 months after I bought them. Sometimes the sound would seem a little off and over time I realized that the right channel was cutting out if my head was turned enough so that the cable was rotating inside the earbud (the cable connects to the earbud, but can freely rotate, allowing you to spin the earbud around). Over the next several weeks, it grew worse and worse. From what I could tell, there was less of a "sweet spot" where the contact between the cable and earbud was working. At this point, my right channel cuts out regularly and I'm having to constantly play with the connection to keep it working and the left channel has started doing the same.I looked into replacing the cable (that was why I got these, after all) and found the cost of the cable was over half the cost of replacing the entire thing altogether with another pair. Because I don't want to have to buy a new cable every 3 months (assuming the others would have a similar lifetime), that isn't something I'm interested in doing. Also, as I cannot determine whether it's the cable or the earbud that is the problem, I don't want to risk it, so I guess I'll have to continue on my endless search for a decent set of earbuds.

I like it so far!
I've only used the headphones a couple of times so far. I am not an audiophile, so I am not an expert in sound, but the sound is pretty good to me and I especially like that you have foam earpieces along with the other 3 sized rubber earpieces. I also liked that it has a microphone to use and the cable seems pretty sturdy–like it will last a while. There is a bit of an adjustment with putting the earphones in for me, since it's my first over-the-ear style headphones, but it's fine once you get the hang of it . I haven't worn the earphones for more than 30 minutes and it seems comfortable for me so far, but I can see how it might irritate or dig into the top of your ear with longer use, as one other reviewer mentioned. I have small ears. So far, the fit has been good and the sound isolating is pretty good, particularly with the foam earpieces. The cable in the over-the-ear portion does stick out by default, but it seems that you can use a hairdryer to heat up the plastic a bit and mold it to your ears. I haven't done that yet, but will update the post if I do. It doesn't bother me, but might look a little weird as it is. It comes with a nice case, though it's a bit bulky for me (for putting into pockets)–I would prefer a little sleeve for the headphones.

Poor sound quality straight out of the box. An extra star for the extras!
The Tennmak Pro are good value for moneyIEM’s with above average sound quality, excellent comfort and some goodies bundled in the box to sweeten the deal.Even the packaging is nice. There’s a quality hard carry case and a selection of ear tips (one pair are memory foam) which is rather good at this price point. The cable is detachable and the IEM’s are well made. These are some of the most comfortable earphones I have in my collection. You don’t even notice you’re wearing them.Sadly this is where the positivity train stops.Out of the box sound quality was rather underwhelming. Bass is boomy and bloated, bleeding into the higher frequency range. This makes the Tennmak’s sound flabby and lacklustre. If you’re a bass head that likes listening to your music down a drainpipe then perhaps these are the IEM’s for you.I tried a selection of ear tips and this didn’t help. Particularly the foam tips. The extra isolation over emphasises the bass even more. This may sound crazy but by achieving a poor seal actually tames the bass and accentuates treble and mid range. This improves audio quality somewhat.I eventually settled for a smaller looser fitting tip going against everything you should do when wearing a pair of IEM’s.The Tennmak’s are not harsh sounding and once low frequencies are under control they’re a decent listen. For £25 and considering the extras you get they’re a decent pair of IEM’s. This is reflected in my overall score of 4 stars. In terms of audio quality I would score them three stars.Sadly even at their low price point and considering the extras there’s some stiff competition regarding audio quality.Soundmagic’s E10’s don’t look or feel as nice but sound much more balanced right out of the box. They too also come with a nice carry case so they’ve got the Tennmak’s well and truly beaten if audio fidelity is your primary concern.1More’s Piston Classics are crazy cheap at the moment and offer a superior audio experience also. The Tennmak’s Pro’s have a steep uphill climb to compete.

Great budget IEM's
Great IEM's for the price. The mids are a little muddy, but the comfort and sound isolation are great! And the packaging was really well done.Great for musicians starting out in need of monitors for live performance. Have recommended to many.

Connection issues
Great sound and all that, the connectors came loose fairly quickly given the price, I've ordered another wire and hopefully that's the probably and not the other end...
