MIDO Commander Gradient - Swiss Automatic Watch for Men - See-Through Gradient Dial - 40mm Stainless Steel Case

This watch is well worth the price. It's looks are just sporty & sharp and like nothing else I have in my collection. Looks just as awesome from the back with the full view of the automatic Mido aliber 80 (base ETA C07.651). The brightness of the lume is minimal but with the dark look of this watch, it's perfectly subtle. The strap matches perfectly with the overall look and feels sturdy and well constructed. Although it is going to take some getting used to, being my first strap watch. Definitely gonna be a breaking in period (like new leather shoes lol).

The watch feels so premium and well crafted just as we expect from a swiss brand. The Gradient dial makes the watch look even cool! See through mechanism from top and bottom of the dial feels so satisfying. Very high quality watch. Well worth the money.

Nice Watch

This watch is a site to behold in person. The gradient face lets you see the gears behind it and you can see the date wheel against it. I love the orange and black details hence it’s my SF Giants watch. The lume is basically nonexistent and the strap isn’t very comfortable out of the box, but the watch is amazing overall and keeps great time.

Was very excited to get my watch today after buying it for a great price on Black Friday, but unfortunately the watch that showed up had clearly been previously opened. Box was beat up, no protective film was on the face, clasp, or back side of the dial. Returning as I expected a new watch based on the listing. Very disappointed.

I was initially attracted to this watch and brand as many reviews show this brand as a "Hidden Gem" but being far popular in Asia and Latin America. I also own a few Hamiltons which are among the same price range and quality as this Mido. There is quite a stunning sparkle to this watch but does not scream for attention. It is a very versatile watch one can wear everyday matching gray or dark colors. If you are looking for a solid entry luxury watch, this is a watch definitely worth considering.

Returned because the 6 O’Clock dial indicator was crooked. Shouldn’t happen with a >1K watch.
