This pump and filter are amazing. Our water is crystal clear. We even had some plant issues and our whole liner was caked with algae and debris and the water is as clear as it gets. I only wish they made the next bigger size in this model, and make an easy replacement set for filters.

I have had this filter in my pond for 4 years and have had zero issues with it. It is actually the second one I've had because the first one was for a smaller pond that was upgraded to a larger pond. The filters and equipment are easy to clean and should be done bi-weekly for best results. Its easy to spray the gunk out of the filter pads and reuse over and over again. Replacement pads are inexpensive and only need to be purchased 1-2x/year.The flow rate is perfect and I love that I can divert the flow to the fountain feature and through a secondary UV filter or another water feature.I would definitely recommend it.

Cleared up the algae green water in my pond in about a week. If you have a similar situation, I recommend you run it for several days and then clean the filters. Though more expensive, the filters on this unit are much easier to clean than the CNZ All-In-One unit I had before. Deducting a star because of expense. Handle carefully and don't over tighten the connections which might break the cheap plastic parts. Instructions were vague and images didn't match the unit exactly. There was a sleeve connector attached at the bottom of the fountain tube that had to be unscrewed and placed higher to complete assembly.

I just threw this unit in the trash. It is poorly designed and built. There are two electrical cords, one for the pump and one for the UV light. The pump hangs off the side with no support so when the cheap handle broke, there was no way to get it out of the pond to clean the filters. It has to come completely out of the pond to clean filters and trying to lift the unit out of the pond the pump was too heave and broke off the threaded part. No way to get to the threads to re-attach the pump. So the only thing to do was throw it away and find a system with better design for getting in and out of the pond.

I have had 3 of the 600 gallon models stop working in 6 months. The company will replace units eventually, but you need to follow up. For reference, I have used both the 200 gallon and 300 gallon models with out any major problems. My 200 gallon still works after 4 years. The 300 gallon model worked for 4.5 years before dying. Now that I need a 4th replacement, the company says I have to wait until October to get it because they are "out of stock". Of course, this does not help my fish (I've lost 4 Koi-at least $300 each to replace if I get the same size.) In the meantime, I was advised that I should always have a backup pump if I'm worried about my fish. I am not inclined to buy their product in the meantime.
