The main reason you buy this kit is for the chain splitter, which is made of cheap cast metal, from the handle being to short to get a good hold of, to the plastic cover constantly dropping off, to the pin being loose and weak, takes way more effort and time trying to get it to line up with the chain link, and then threads after a few twists and leaves you without a bike till you order a better replacement off another seller... If you buy this kit and manage to use the splitter more than once it would be like winning the lottery....

Good, easy to use kit

Bought this to repair a bike chain. Did what it should and seemed good quality

There are a lot of components for such a low price, speedlink pliers, chain splitter with two bits, chain holding wire and chain gauge. Unsurprisingly the quality is just OK. The plastic handle on the chain splitter snapped on first use, but it still worked OK using an adjustable spanner on the square shift.
