This is a refurbished unit but looks like new and works like new. It cools my medium size living room very well on hot days. The window hose exhaust is easy to install. The only con is where the exhaust exits at the window. The opening to let hot air out is big, so when not in use bugs can definitely enter a/c and into house. I solved that by placing some window screening over the opening. Otherwise I am happy with this a/c

this is my 2nd Hisense portable air conditioner purchase and it works great. I prefer this brand because of the no leak feature that reuses condensate. I have not had to worry about draining it but i do check it periodically when the humidity is higher. So far so good. The controls are easy to understand. It has a long vent hose, sleep timer feature, and even comes with a convenient remote. Comes with easy to use window installation parts and instructions. Definitely quieter than a window unit but some noise is to be expected from a compressor faithfully chugging out cold air so efficiently. I bought this one refurbished and appreciated the cost savings and speedy delivery. unit is as advertised.

It was 98 degrees and humid. This took about 10 min to set up and only about 10 more and the room was significantly cooler. With a fan it cooled 2 solid rooms and was more then worth the money !!

I got one of these for my office this year. installation was super easy and it does great cooling the room (12' x 12'). it's a little on the noisy side when it's running. my only real complaint is the fact that the unit completely turns off when it's not cooling. I have other AC unit's that keep the fan on, even while the compressor isn't running, and I much prefer that.overall, a great portable AC unit!!

I was looking to buy portable air conditioner for my father. He works from home so he's usually either in his home office or his TV den watching movies. The house is older and has a single window-mounted AC unit he places in his bedroom on the top floor. Although the cool air does make it down to the lowest level of the house (his TV den) it's not as cool.I saw a $60 portable, lightweight AC on Tik Tok, but thought I could do better here. I saw Hisense had one and since it's the same company as my mini fridge I have in my writing room, and love, I was excited to again support this brand. However, this "portable" unit is anything but portable. In the details of this items (demensions, power output, etc) it DOES NOT state a weight. Under "Device Type" (I think was the wording, or something similar) it read "portable". This thing easily weight 80+ lbs and has to run an exhust hose out of a window.These were concerns when I was shopping around for this item. I had first checked out a different brand and was upset to find it had an exhust hose. I paid extra attention to the Hisense one to ensure that it did not. EVERY picture availbe showed the unit sitting in the middle of a room, it never showed a single picture with the an exhust hose connected to a window. Who would store such a unit in the middle a room in the off position. That picture was very misleading. So now, I have $180 AC that is "portable" that weight 80-100lbs. So, all I need now is for them to invent a "portable window" so I can set it up where ever I want to.It's being sent back. I am irate

I received this portable A/C unit on June 6th and set the temperature at 72 and recently turned it off the first week of September. I installed it in a slider window the same day. It was easy to install and worked well - maintained the cool temperature the entire summer in my bedroom and adjacent powder room. I had no water problems as the condensation was dried automatically as stated in unit description.(i have had other brand unit that condensation overflowed onto wooden floor). I waited to give this review and after 3 months I found nothing to complain about. Happy with purchase

Highly recommend!! I bought 2. One is quiet. The other makes intermittent noise BUT as long is they both consistently blow cold air, It's ALL GOOD! Hisense make best portable air conditioners. Great customer service and warranty. I highly advise buy extra warranty. You'll thank me when something happens to your Hisense. I had one previous Hisense that stopped working. Customer service REPLACED it!!! With quiet working unit!!! Excellent warranty! Best in the industry. Can't go wrong!!!!
