Why did you pick this product vs others?:My husband loves this coffee. He only has to add a little sugar OR honey because it already has a good flavor. I have ordered multiple times

We were looking for coffee high in caffeine to keep us awake and yet not leave that bitter aftertaste. Well we found it!! Great taste! Worth the money we’ve spent thus far. It hasn’t upset my stomach one time like other strong coffee has . I definitely recommend Black Insomnia.

This is a gift, I had to salvage the box it came in as it was crushed being shipped in a heavy envelop. Thankfully the pods that had fallen out of the crushed box were still usable.

I received the box and it was open. It's not made for all Kerurigs apparently. You have to force it to close. Honestly I was disappointed. I hadn't yawned all day and I drank a cup and it actually made me sleepy. I was so disappointed.

Probably goes without saying if I’m reviewing this, but I’m pretty experienced with coffee (also a former barista for many years) and can hold my caffeine. I used to drink Death Wish, which in the end didn’t feel any different than drinking Great Value Donut Shop K-cups (except for being worse tasting) and pretty much all the others that claim to be extremely strong. This one actually is.Going by the caffeine content, Black insomnia is 1105 milligrams per 12 fl oz. Death Wish is 728 milligrams per 12 fl oz. So mathematically this is about 150% as strong. But what matters is that I can actually tell it’s that strong, even being as caffeine tolerant/jaded to “strong coffee” as I am. I think some of the other reviews were expecting the strongest “tasting” coffee rather than the strongest caffeine wise. This one actually keeps me awake so I can get stuff done, unlike DW and Black Rifle etc. (hence the “insomnia” part of the name I suppose). And for the guy who mentioned a burnt popcorn taste… try cleaning your machine, that happens when you have months or years of old coffee oils built up inside a Keurig machine. Gross I know, but not your coffee’s fault. For me, the taste was good, strong, with a nutty flavor and aroma.Anyway, this is the strongest coffee (in caffeine) AND I can tell the difference, unlike pretty much every other “extra strong coffee” i’ve tried in the last decade or so. I actually reserve these pods for when I’m sure I need the most energy and won’t need to sleep for a good while. I’ll be buying this one again.
