I trusted my judgment but still purchased some other versions which had many more and slightly higher ratings. It's kind of amusing that highly rated one are female to female. This one is 1 female to 4 male with installed cover caps for the male ends instead of needing male to male pin adapters. If you're trying to connect more than one device like a fan or light strip to a motherboard header it will have a female connector and require a male plug on the extension. With this cable all you have to do is remove a cover and plug it into your device cable. No little adapter to get loose or fall into your PC. Had I used one of the other products I would have had to have tape the female end/adapter/female end mess to keep it all together. With this little guy the connection is pretty secure. On a less accessible one I still wrapped a piece of Kapton tape around the assembly but on another connection that wasn't even needed. If you need to expand an ARGB header just get this product. It's great! Actually they're great - there's two in the package!

Used to help daisy chain Cooler Master Sickleflow fans in the front of a Corsair 5000D Airflow case. Like the plastic caps that click into place when dead-ending cables not in use vs. a rubber cap that falls off from other vendors. I gave the other to my son for his NZXT H9 Flow to help with fan and cable management.Cables are great when using newer cases that are designed for maximum air movement.

If you don't care about style points (or flat black is your look) these are perfect. Just double check that you're getting the right type of cord you need (as always)!
