I make pottery and I saw an IG reel where someone used this to open pots. I was intrigued and bought my own. if you make pottery, I highly recommend this unconventional tool. my pottery friends are always amused when I whip this thing out in the studio, but it works so well! no thumb or hand fatigue when opening centered pots, regardless of how much clay you're throwing with. and it's good for smoothing rims or edges, obviously, since it's made for doing exactly that with caulk.

it works but it doesn't make it look clean rather use my own finger

Honestly bought it as a joke gift for a painter friend who is a master at caulking. Turns out, he finds this tool super useful and very effective.
