Small but very powerful magnetic aquarium glass cleaner.
It may be small, but this is a super powerful magnetic aquarium glass cleaner, which works great on both small and larger tanks. Because of the small surface it takes longer to clean my 50 gallon tank but it does a wonderful job. I especially like that the round outer magnet is easy to hold and the thin inner scraping pad is small enough to get behind live rocks, heater and filter tubes. I can not reach those places with my larger floating magnet scrapers, but I will still use the larger ones to clean the main glass of my larger tanks. I mainly use this Nanomag on my glass tanks as it will leave scratches on acrylic. I used it on one 5 gallon acrylic tank briefly and noticed it left some small scratches behind. I believe that this magnetic aquarium window cleaner is mainly meant for cleaning glass aquariums. I love how well it cleans, and this is my favorite algae cleaner by far! This was a personal retail purchase and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Best Nano Tank glass cleaner!
Cleaning my tank has become easier and more fun with this gadget! Along with manual scrubbing, I've used mag floats for all my tanks in the past - from 5g to 50g glass and acrylic. In searching for a replacement for my 9g saltwater nano, I discovered two little fishies. Based on Amazon reviews, I gave it a try and am glad I did! Love it! Thanks reviewers!Like a previous reviewer mentioned, the other magnetic cleaners often came undone while cleaning with the in-tank piece quickly bobbing up to the surface. I have an open top tank so the bobbing and "popping" of the pieces back together often caused the critters slight distress along with small back splashes out of the tank (and onto my teak console table, ugh). The two fishes nanomag has a smaller footprint inside the tank than the smallest mag float, one of the few times when smaller is better! The in-tank side of the magnetized cleaner is just a little bigger than a postage stamp, a tad thicker than a quarter and semi-flexible. So it's great in a salt or planted tank where one no longer has to worry about the top of the cleaner bumping against live rock, corals or plants. These magnets are very strong and hold much better than my other mags. I can glide it easily throughout the tank without it coming apart and fit it to clean the glass between the nooks and crannies of my thermometer, cords, water pump and even the edges of the filter!I'm glad to see these improvements in the hobby to make cleaning easier and our fish/livestock happier!

Bad ass little cleaner
This should be called the "bad ass little cleaner". My local fish store since COVID have reduced their inventory due to cost cutting. I never thought I would miss this soooo much. Hunted everywhere for it, finally had to go online and get it. I do try and support local fish stores as much as possible, but after 3-4 different local fish stores, my hands were tied. This little guy is perfect not only for small tanks, but large tanks where rocks are close to the walls which makes hard to get in there without disturbing the rocks.Powerful magnet, I mean very powerful.Worth every penny.

Big power in small package
having only one powerful magnet, the cleaner works very well, and does the job that you would buy it for. I am using mine in a 3 gallon tank. The reason i purchased this was to take off the water line, scrub algae, and not look so big in my tank as it only protrudes 1/4 inch into the display tank.PROS:small (easy to maneuver around decorations and filters etc... much less of an eyesore compared to magfloat brand)powerful magnet (even works with the thick glass in my 75 gallon tank)CONS:small cleaning surface (since the cleaning component is made of soft foam square, the only surface area that is in contact with the glass is the circle of the magnet. I believe that this part of the design actually aids in moving the cleaning device around corners, however you cannot really get down deep into those 90 degree corners of your aquarium.)the cleaning component sinks (this is the case because the magnet is so large that the buoyancy of the foam that it is set in cannot compensate for its weight. However the magnet is so powerful that if you manage to release the cleaning component into the tank within 3.5 inches of the glass, the device will form the union again and you will be able to continue cleaning, however be cautious, be sure to check that you did not pick up any grains of sand before you start to scrub away because that will scratch the inside of your aquarium)Bottom line: If you have a nano sized tank, and you want to purchase a magnetic aquarium cleaner, I would recommend this product.

What a great tool. for smaller Betta tanks (2.5-5 gal) Fast, easy to use and efficient.
After trying one "similar" product, I quickly realized that not all tank cleaners are created equal. The first purchase (obviously not this product) went straight back to Amazon. It claimed small/medium tank cleaner. Maybe at Sea World but not here.Got the NanoMag cleaner the same day. How Amazon does this still amazes me. But I took one look at the product and said that is exactly what I wanted/needed. Within minutes, I was cleaning the interior of my 3 tanks. I have two 2.5gal & one 5 gal Betta tanks. There usually isn't much algae, but I started to notice it building up in places. It handled the curves of the bowed tank easily and had no problems going around corners. If the connection breaks, just follow the little guy and he'll come back and you're back in business. All three tanks were clean inside of 5 minutes. Two are acrylic and one glass and it easily took care of them all. Thank you!

READ BEFORE BUYING - Slimmest profile mag cleaner out there.
Perfect for my 10 gallon reefEdit 10/12/18: this is the 2nd one I’ve purchased due to what I’d say is quality, however this 2nd one fell apart (literally) within a couple weeks.... :(Edit 8/16/20:The 3rd one fell apart a few months back, I forgot to update this review. They last anywhere from 3-6 months before the wet side breaks apart. They’re great when they are in one piece... The biggest thing you have to worry about is if it starts to separate the magnet will rust inside your tank which, as most reefers know, is a dangerous thing.
