Q: Will these fee off horse poop?

i have a harvester that i have used several types of poop -- chicken, rat, horse and cow mostly ...as a base -- i then add veggie scraps and other scraps --with just poop it takes longer for the grubs to grow and they aren't as large -

Q: Are these the larvae of naturally large flies or tiny like the phoenix?

I dunno what are those different flies you mentioned, but these hatch into standard BS flies that are around 12-15mm. The worms were tiny though, way too small for my beardie.

Q: It is 100+ degrees. How do you ship to keep them alive?

I received them in florida summer, and ALL were alive. :)

Q: Do these need food? Do they stay in refrigerator?

No. I feed them. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t. Depends on the temperature
