Works well very useful especially if applied to new furniture

Protects furniture from stains as well as fluid. Apply after washing and drying covers, easy to apply requires ventilationwhilst spraying.

I've used Scotchguard protector before so I was happy to buy this product again. After shampooing my carpet and 3 piece suite I let it dry thoroughly and then sprayed it with 2-3 coats of Scotchguard on a warm dry day when I could leave the windows open. The product has a strong odour and you need to avoid breathing in the vapour until about 24 hours whilst it dries. You can't really tell how effective it is until you spill something on the fabric and try to clean it. I accidentally spilt a few drops of red wine on my carpet and was able to remove it completely by sponging it off immediately. Fortunately I haven't had to deal with a large spill but I'm confident I will be able to clean it more effectively than if I hadn't treated it with Scotchguard first.

I've used Fabsil in the past bought from well known screw and tool shops. I've treated my hats, Fabsil failed straight away, not worth the trouble, Scotchgard worked great. You don't need much, don't soak what your spraying, just a few light sprays does the job. Water beads and runs off. Because you don't use much it's economical to use as well. Recommended.

Best to use while out or in bed.
