Grass Fed and NonGMO Milk Products
I am allergic to any food made from cows milk. Have tried many dairy free options for butter, cheese, etc. But they all have nut or other seed oils that make them not healthy choices for me. So, I tried the Mt. Capra Goat Butter. Surprise, I did not have any negative reaction. I also tried the Mt. Capra Dried Milk. Again, no negative reaction. Happy to have found these products. Just wish they made a Goat Butter with salt for a little more flavor. These products are produced from grass fed only goats and are non-GMO. Thank you Mt. Capra for some excellent products. I will continue to purchase these products.

Not all goat ghee you see for sale is the same: look at the fat content
I bought, originally, the first one I found thinking..... I had not seen any and was surprised to find any. It has three times the amount of fat.... It is called Gold Nugget. I know others must like it. I do not want to be mysterious as to the brand to which I refer here. Mt. Capra's goat milk ghee has the normal amount of fat meaning, I think I found a couple of other goat milk ghees for sale and they all have the same amount of fats in the same percentages as I recall. In any case I trust Mt. Capra and have bought other products.

I wish this was available in stores
What a great product. Cow butter destroyes my digestive system but goat does not. I'm using this for cooking and as a butter replacement. It doesn't have a goat smell or taste which is nice.

Goat milk butter
I believe it’s too watery, not enough consistency

This is a really wonderful product
I have been making my own cow ghee for awhile, but it had started to feel heavy on my stomach. So I decided to give this a try. My husband and I love it! I made ghee cookies using this. They are delicious, but a little sweeter than I expected. The ghee has a sweeter note to it's taste, so I will need to adjust the recipe. We had chicken breasts baked in this and oh, were they good! They tasted better than with the cow ghee and more digestible. The taste is milder than cow ghee, the smell reminiscent of the cow ghee we've made, but lighter. Overall we are really glad we tried this.

Excellent for Bulletproof Coffee!
This stuff is great for making bulletproof coffee. Cow dairy doesn't agree with me, but I didn't know this existed. I stumbled on this by accident, looking at ghee of all kinds on Amazon, and there it was. I ordered and it came right away, with a faint yummy butter flavor and just the tiniest hint of goat. Maybe a hint of goat. Maybe not. Once it's in the coffee, even your imagination can't detect goat, only rich bulletproof coffee flavor. I've been using it for a week now, and I'm impressed. The instructions on the label say to keep it in the refrigerator, so unfortunately it now has to be scraped out with the hard edge of a spoon, but that's a small price to pay. Cultured cow ghee (the casein is removed via bacteria) has a sort of smoky flavor, or perhaps a semi-caramel undertone. This goat ghee? The only real flavor is a faint buttery taste. The tiny hint of goat flavor may have been my imagination. Either way, this stuff is good. Now my bulletproof coffee tastes the way it should. Will buy again.
