I simply LOVE this little gem! It effectively sharpened to new condition my old set of knives I'd stored away because I couldn't get a charp edge on them anymore! It also sharpens scissors and is small enough to store in a drawer or cabinet for handy use!

This sharpener works really well. The coarse sharpener is so sharp it actually shaves off metal from knives. I get metal shavings everytime I pull a knife thru it (is this a good thing?). The fine sharpener really sharpens well after using the coarse sharpener. I haven't tried the scissors sharpener yet, but looks like it'll be fine.Now, the bad. The sharpener itself is made from very cheap-looking and super light-weight plastic. It does not scream quality at all when you look at it.I don't know how long this will last, but giving it the benefit of the doubt and overlooking the cheap look cuz of how well it sharpens.

It will help a super full blade but won't actually sharpen worth a crap.
