I love this mold. I bought a third one to include in my collection. I previously used a different versions which became frustrating to remove the soap from the mold. Also, the other version bent out in the middle making the bars uneven. This version keeps the soap mold square and removing the silicone from the soap is so easy. The box is solid and well built (not cheap and thin like other versions). I like the lid for gel phase. The holes at the bottom of the box make removing the silicone mold easy. The silicone is thick and good quality along with being super easy to clean. Also, the price is competitive and only increased by less than one dollar from 1 year ago when I last bought one. Don’t hesitate to buy this version!

This is my first commercially made soap mold, and I love it! It’s nicely constructed with box joints at the corners. The outside has been finished with what looks like clear poly. The cut out handles at the ends make it easy to move the mold when it’s filled, and the circular holes in the base prevent the silicone mold from getting stuck in the box. The lid fits perfectly! The silicone liner is very thick, heavy, and sturdy. It is about 1/4 inch thick. There is a small gap between the liner and the box which would allow the liner to bow out a tiny bit when filled with soap. I solved this problem by cutting two pieces of cardboard from the product packaging and slipping them between the liner and the box at one end and along one side. The inside of the wooden box was unfinished. I lightly sanded with steel wool and applied two coats of poly, sanding in between, to seal the inside of the box and make it easier to clean. I have made two batches of cold process soap using this mold. Capacity with the liner is slightly under five pounds. If I slice this into scant one inch bars, I can get sixteen bars from the loaf. I think if I lined the box with paper and used it without the silicone liner it would probably hold five pounds, but the handle holes might be problematic. Overall, this is a great mold for someone looking to make medium-sized batches of soap for small scale sales or for personal use. I will probably purchase another!

I have purchased about 14 of these molds and planning to purchase lots more very soon. They are very sturdy, I love how thick and flexible the silicones are. Based on it's design it is very easy to unmold because there are holes under the bottom that make it very easy to use. Great value for such a wonderful product that is beautifully and thoughtfully made.

I am so HAPPY with this soap mold set! There is such beautiful craftsmanship of the wood mold. It is smooth and has a great fit. It is apparent that there was love of art and pride in workmanship here! The silicone liner mold is generously thick and very easy to use, It fits nicely in the wood mold box. I appreciate the professional packaging, note and soap bags. OH, the silicone liner mold is above the top of the wood, lessening the chance of dripping batter between the liner and wood! It was easy to remove from the wood and unmold. I have rheumatoid arthritis and some things are quite challenging if I need hand strength. No problems with this set! But wait, that's not all... the lid fits flush to the bottom with extra room above for peaks! Oh, I could go on and on. You'll see that I got the 16 - 1 inch bars. My cutter only cuts 12 bars and I needed to cut 4 inches off first. Well, as you can see, oops, a reminder to measure twice, cut once! I would give 10 STARS if I could! I know how I can do that, I need to buy another one and give another 5 Star rating. Seriously, I absolutely love that this purchase was received as advertised and I LOVE IT!! These are perfect for making normal, rectangular-shaped soap bars. I had so much trouble trying to find a mold that included finished size soap bars and quantity in their descriptions but this company was very clear and informative. Most of the descriptions for other soap molds only said things like, “ Holds 35 ounces”, or had dimensions that didn’t help with knowing what size bar you would get. I almost gave up!

The BEST!! I can easily release my soap from the mold after 1 day . The mold feels powdery rather than shiny and sticky, so it's super easy to remove the soap and nothing sticks behind. I have 4 already and will be ordering more ♡
