ORIJEN Amazing Grains High Protein Dry Dog Food Regional Red Recipe 22.5lb Bag

Our labs have been eating this food for 3 years now. They started out on Hill’s Science but would sometimes not eat or their poop would be inconsistent. They always eat Orijen right when it hits the bowl and it’s rare for their poop to not be solid. We’ve never had any issues. If price is the biggest issue for you, ask yourself, can you cut out some going out to eat in order to feed your dog better?

I've been feeding this to all my pups for the last 6 years! My pups have never had any problem with the taste, but they're also not very picky eaters. My parents spoiled, picky eater that always has to investigate EVERYTHING offered to her, 70lb pittbull on the other hand-GOBBLES this up when I feed this to her when she stays with me when my parents go on vacation!!I had a pup that passed from cancer in 2022 and was relieved to read from cancer diet researches in canines that this was a good brand b/c it was very nutritional and didn't contain any fillers and other products that could worsen her condition to "feed" the cancer.A caveat about this food: it is EXTREMELY nutrient dense! So, the amount you were previously feeding your pups from another brand needs to be reduced when feeding them Orijen. I learned that the hard way when I switched them and noticed how cutely chubby they were getting, lolz! ❤️

I have a 8 year old Siberian Husky, he's the pickiest eater I've ever seen in a dog. I've been feeding him TOTW - Ancient grain for about 4-5 years now and he never had an issue with it. I'd switch up different bags every other month to give him a change....However... About 3 months ago, he just stopped eating it, he'd go 2-3 days at at a time without eating anything. I'd even try to add other food or something in his bowl, and he would eat everything I threw in there, except his food. I tried multiple different brands of dog food, and he was the same way with every single one. I didn't realize Orijin had a grain incluai brand until a couple days ago. When I saw this, I decided I'd give it a try..... To my amazement, he absolutely LOVES it. The second I opened the bag, my Husky (and Malinois) went absolutely crazy. I've never seen either of my dogs act this way around dog food.I've been using it for about 3 days now, and my Husky hasn't missed a meal. He's also letting me know he's hungry, just like he use to do months ago!

DO NOT BUY. This food is being sold and shipped by Amazon in poor condition—likely left in the sun or improperly stored. It caused my dog to have vomiting and diarrhea. I reported it and received a refund, which I appreciated, but unfortunately, it made my dog very sick. I do not recommend buying this brand.

I received the Regional Red flavor for Hometesterclub and was impressed with the high quality ingredients. I'm assuming that's why it smelled so awful opening the bag, but it does seal thank goodness. I did the portioned mix with his other food and he seemed to like it better than his other brand, almost picking through the old stuff to get to the new stuff. He is a very messy eater, leaves food all around his food bowl area, which he didn't do with the Orijen (as pictured), so that's also a win. I would continue with this brand, but unfortunately the price is way out of my range right now.

My dog, Josie, can be very fussy when it comes to her dog food. Sometimes I have to pretend I’m putting extra goodies with her food, as well as, pretend microwave her dog bowl for her to show interest. I’ve had her try many different brands of dog food. She always starts off liking it, but then by the 3rd or 4th bowl, she’s lost interest.To my surprise, Josie didn’t lose interest in Orijen’s Amazing Grains Regional Red dog food! I made sure to ween her off her old food, so it didn’t cause any digestive issues. She’s a big fan of meal time with Orijen, and she even does a happy dance when I’m filling her food dish.I really like how there’s 90% premium animal ingredients! Makes me feel good about giving Josie quality dog food.The food does smell a little fishy, but I know there’s fish in the ingredients.If you have a fussy eater, I highly recommend you buy this food for your dog!

Our two terriers will eat it as is but we prefer to mix in vegetables, especially carbs, to ensure they get a well rounded diet and enjoy their meals.

My mastiff’s digestive system does much better on the grain free. Plus there is a great deal of dust and broken pieces with this product. Just prefer their other product for my dog.
