In order to get the best results, you must re-soak these in water occasionally and then refreeze. Once they lose their moisture they don't last very long. I thought at first that this frozen thing might get me all wet. I have been using this for a few weeks, and I have never been wet from it. If I am outside in the 90 degree heat it only lasts about an hour and if I am using it inside it lasts at least two or more hours. I am hot all the time and this has been a wonderful help. The colors are good and I consider this a great value. Functions as advertised. Yes, it can come out of the freezer in a long frozen strip. Just Crush it a little with your hands and wrap it where you want it.

Just spent the last hour looking for tiny beads on the floor that fell out from one of the scarves that had a hole in it. In my opinion, I would be very concerned about my cat getting one on her paw and licking it or if I had a child I would be worried about them swallowing it. FYI, as mentioned in previous reviews, only 2 of the 6 scarves had a good amount of beads. The others had very few.

There were only a few beads in each , and was going to return, then I put one in ice water and Wow! They blew up and almost filled the insert they were sewn into . Will try to see if they can hold up.

I initially was going to return because only a small section had swelled with beads. I kept turning it and left it soaking a lot longer than my old ones. It eventually swelled all the way around. So I will keep them . The matterial is very sold and the print is pretty. These are about half the size as other I have had. I do like that they are smaller except I suspect being smaller means they will not stay cool very long. .

We bought these for a baseball tournament to help keep the kids cool during games. They swelled so much that the stitching ripped on some and the rest became so stiff that you couldn't comfortably wrap them around your neck. I wouldn't buy these again.
