This is an old school trim comb that I remember from years ago . It works good to thin your hair if you have a hay head , it helps to blend things in.

Using this can avoid many trips to the barber ... with the help of your wife or significant other. Used something like this for years ... went to the barber very infrequently.

The Conair Trimmer works fairly well, but it's not eco-friendly. The blades are not replaceable, so as soon as the blades are dulled (in the range of one to three uses), you have to throw the entire unit away. Even though you get 3 trimmers for $5.82, they are far less eco-friendly than trimmers like the Seki Edge (and others) that are made so that dull blades can be easily replaced with new fresh blades (only the blades need to be disposed of (recycled). In my opinion, trimmers with replaceable blades work as well (or in some cases better) than the Conair trimmer. Amazon sells high quality double edged razor blades for around 10 cents a piece (in quantities of 100), and replacing blades in trimmers like the Seki is easy (just be very careful as blades are Very Sharp). I like the idea of a fresh, ready to go trimmer for thirty-cents, rather than throwing away a not easily recycled item (plastic and steel mixed) and paying $1.94 to replace it. The Conair is ok, just not as adjustable, cost effective, or eco-friendly as some other other trimmers sold by Amazon.

Ok, it costs $7 people. Pays for itself the first time you use it. Comes with instructions and is clearly marked with effectively 4 blade lengths. I am growing out a pixie and all a stylist can do is cut hair (shorten it). They don’t always do what I ask, so I have been trimming it myself with thinning and regular shears, but I can’t see the back, which looked in the mirror like it was cut by monkeys. Enter this comb-and-trim device! I did a few passes in the back only with the L (long) side, flat to my head and light pressure, just to get the hang of it, as directed in the instructions. Checked in the mirror, and moved on to the M (medium) blade, which I started flat to the head but then angled down to horizontal as I went toward the nape. Checked the mirror again. Next onto the S (short) side and cleaned up the very nape of the neck, nice and clean and even. The taper is just what I wanted and looks tidy. Saved me probably $70 (I live in LA) plus aggravation of having a stylist do what they want instead of what I want, and saved me potentially months of grown out hair. Yay!! And yes you need to wet your hair as stated in the directions or it will pull. I used a spray bottle and showered afterward to get rid of any little loose hairs. Including a photo of NOT ME but the style I created myself using this in the back.

This handy dandy little gadget is not for a full on fashion haircut. It is essentially four single edge razor blades, each held a different little distance away from your skin by plastic teeth. I have been using one successfully over 20+ years to trim my very short pixie cut around the ears and the back of my neck, even on occasion the not quite bangs, between regular visits to my hair cutter lady. There is no way to change the blades when they get dull. Buy at least two, use one until dull, order a couple more when you begin using the second/spare one.

Great for my wavy long hair. If you layer with this it hangs much better. Also great for shearing off split ends. These last a while. Contain safety guards. Easy to hold and handle. Sharp and the best for value on the market. I keep going back to these.
