Aveda Be Curly Style Prep

I have thick and wavy hair that falls above my shoulders, so short by most people's description. I find one small pump of this product gives me the control and curl definition that my hair needs. I don't like a heavy product feel in my hair and this does not feel like too much. My hair stays clean feeling. I can usually go every other day and sometimes 3 when I use this along with a light mist of hair spray.

Ordered Aveda be curly on a whim. I have a natural wave to my hair and thought this may bring out more waves/curls. This product did not disappoint. I followed directions and did not blow dry my hair or use a curling iron; I just used a large tooth comb to distribute the product. Thank you Aveda for another awesome product!!

Love how it is not sticky on your hair or leaves hair dry. It feels soft and natural.

This stuff defines the curls beautifully. Even with definition, my hair doesn't look overloaded with product. My curls are not crunchy, they look shiny and natural. The scent isn't my favorite, but it is not overbearing. If Aveda could be convinced to switch to the the rosemary mint fragrance from their shampoo line, the curl products, they would be truly perfect.

I love aveda’s style prep. Works great for my curly, aging, “grey-ing” (well they’re turning gray faster than I’d like it) hair, which is a lot finer than it used to be and breaks a lot.Been using it for months and needed a new bottle, which my store didn’t have, but Amazon did. Helps keep my hair from going frizzy fast, hold well with humidity and doesn’t dry my hair.Thumbs up for the product.Shipping however was “interesting”: the box it came in was super thin. I think a padded envelope would have done a better job.Very little paper inside to keep product intact.The bottle was not broken, but the lid was turned and it had obviously leaked all over the bottle, cause it was sticky and dried up down the bottle and inside the thin box.Maybe a small piece of tape holding the lid in place would suffice? And definitely better packaging. That was disappointing.I’m only knocking down one star because of this, but the product is a 5 star, the shipping gets a 2 star (just cause bottle wasn’t broken).

This product significantly helps my wavy and frizzy hair. I apply it after a shower, just a small amount. I love the smell it leaves on my hair for the remainder of the day. It is expensive but I believe it is worth the cost.

I have been using Style Prep for years in combination with the curl enhancer and everyone always compliments me on my curls. Now that the Aveda shops have closed near my house, it's convenient that I can find them on Amazon.

I've been using this product for many years and I recommend it 100% by far one of my must have!
