This was a wonderfully instructive and really fun art book, perfect for when my grandsons want to draw some unique and esoteric art! Lol as an artist, I always demand the highest quality learning materials for my grandchildren, and these fit the bill perfectly!

I’m an artist and my nephew also has the gift of drawing. He is only 9 but he draws increidbly well for his age and I wanted to enhance is talent so we bought him this book. Wow I myself was very taken back at how well made it is. This artist worked for Disney at one time so you know it’s good! I will be picking up one for myself after the holidays!!

I got this for my 11 year old Grandson for a Christmas present and he loved it.. i also purchased a sketch pad and some artist pencils for him to use and before he opened any other gifts he had the pad and book open and was starting to draw monsters. His mom said he just loved the book, so easy to use with clear instructions. Any kid who has a artist streak in him or her would enjoy the book...

Worth the money for what in it and what it shows you.

Ordered it for my 6 year old nephew who is very much into drawing right now. He likes to follow the step by step instructions and after working on a few pictures with him from various website, my husband suggest these books. We bought a few for him (monsters, cars and animals) and some are a little more complicating for him but he loves it and started on them right away.

The Yoda, Darth Vader, and Frankenstein's Monster are worth the price of admission. There are a few (several) things in here that I can't imagine inspiring anyone's imagination or desire to draw them. The 'Dirts' defy explanation. As do the 'Creaches' by and large. Other than that, a fun book I would recommend it.

My newphew loves monsters AND drawing, so when he got this for Christmas, he couldn't believe his 2 luck. Every time he comes over, he pulls it out of the closet and practices his skills (keeps him quiet too)!

I like the concept shown to beginners on how to start to draw. It is not boring or tedious an there is room for your blossoming creativity using this simple and well-illustrated method.

We have had so much fun with this book, it is great to practice drawing the monsters etc, but it is real fun when used as a family game, each being shown a monster and the hints of how to draw - the book being taken away see how the monsters turn out - hysterically.
