This thing rips in the TT-02R! Near a 50mph road car, cool, quiet, smooth! Make sure to get yourself an ESC programming card; it's not necessary, but it helps unlock the full potential.

Great motor combo just not for bashing a traxxas slash 2wd the motor over heats. I put it in my 1/10 2wd rustler still running test. The first car I had it in got ran over from front to back and the esc looked untouched. The fan works the only thing that got damaged was the rubber coating of the wire love would just research the right size motor critical for not having issues on the track

Awesome Castle product! Awesome Amazon shipping! Also came with a Castle coupon for a free link device for tuning the ESC.

Worked great at first but got hot in my 2wd slash quick even geared down as far as I could. Added a heat sink and ran it at 50% power 90% of the time. After about 5 battery cycles( always checking temp and being careful not to use it too hard) and out of nowhere the rotor blew up. For a $100+ motor that was taken care of I am not impressed. Save your money and buy a couple hobby wing motors and still save money.
