Next Level Racing GTElite Aluminium Simulator Cockpit - Wheel Plate Edition

The dream has been realised. Wanted one realistically for 5 years. After meticulous planning ( seat, monitor) and saving for a while, I Finally made it happen, and it's all better than I imagined. Being a former bodybuilder, the larger side of things I was skeptical. But I'm happy to report the skepticism is died very quickly. Great instructions, some good online tutorials including from your favourite sim racing content creators. Excellent rigidity. Plenty of adjustments to Taylor to the tall or shorter end of the scale. If you want the GT position, you're good. Formula 1 position? You're good. Across the 3 days It took me to put together, i spent roughly 2 hours per day, totally around 6 hours build time after work. Also putting everything in to position and all the little tweaks that naturally follow. I built it on my own, a second person is advisable if possible, but not essential. Trust me, you want to get everything absolutely perfect. Don't be afraid of setting a game up, driving, and readjusting everything once your seat and monitor are in place. It's worth it. Very worth it.

I've had the wheel plate edition set up for a few months now so can give my review without rose tinted glasses - still have to say I am more than pleased with this rig - went from desk top set up & decided to go full rig instead of (not that much cheaper) fold away set ups - so pleased I did - takes a few hours to build with clear instructions & a video on line if needed - I have a direct drive wheel set up & this rig is solid, doesn't move at all - it is a finger print magnet though due to the plated finish but that's a small issue - overall its a great piece of kit

This rig is probably the best thing I have ever bought from Amazon. Goes together great. I like how it is really modular. You can really fine tune it and it feels great when you sit in it. You get a bit of extra hardware too to add additional components. I wish I had bought this a year ago rather than wasting my money on starter/budget rigs. This thing looks awesome and is really easy to get in and out of due to the design of upper arms leaning backwards. Very happy to be the owner of one of these.

Not hugely adjustable... and very fiddly. Can be adjusted but very messy due to angular nature. Takes a long time too. The flight pack is abysmal. The arm for the flight stick is way to short with very limited adjustment, and the throttle base is way too low. No way of making any useful adjustments. Overall, this entire ecosystem is a one-size-fits all. If it works for you you're OK. If it doesn't... it's just a pain. So if you want it for flight simming

Worst customer experience ive ever had with next level racing. Had an issue with the available item and they just don't give a toot as they don't actual sell to general public they only have so call sellers on amazon and other place so if anything goes wrong good luck. They literally might aswell not even have a logo. And they only open in the day in Australia so had to wait up past 1 am uk

I finally was able to set this up this week after having the the Cockpit being delivered 2 weeks previously. I did take us a few hours to put it together, but once completed and adjusted to what equipment we already owned ( Fanatec ) I can say that I am very happy with this professional product which gives you so many options and setup plus adjustments depending on what type of racing you are into , worth every penny as far as we are all concerned and very happy with the purchase.

Que dire sur ce châssis… tout simplement le top!!!! emballage impeccable, montage facile. prévoir quelques heures devant vous tout de même!!! Personnellement je l’ai monté seul, il est recommandé d’être monté à deux. le « point noir » reste le temps de réglage du châssis étant donné que tous est réglables aux petits oignons, la rançon du succès..en tout cas c’est du très solide au top. Une fois tous les réglages fait, ça ne bougera plus.

Easy to put up, quality of product is 10/10 no wheel flex or anything! Cheers.

I have had this setup for over two months and came from a more entry level cockpit that had quite a bit of flex. This thing has no noticeable flex even when using load cell pedals. Everything can be adjusted and fine tuned and accessories are easy to find and mount thanks to the extruded frame. Would happily buy this again given the chance. A few of the t-nuts weren't smoothed after finishing causing some deep gauges in the grooves of the main frame making it hard to slide the seat and other pieces back and forth. A few days of back and forth emails with the mfg and two brand new frame pieces and hardware came via next day air.

This thing is extremely heavy and initially difficult to get out of the box. But everything is well packed and I doubt even the worst delivery person could damage the contents. It is easy to build for the most part. There are a couple of points that are a bit confusing to understand in the manual and even the NLR video isn’t all that clear, but overall easy to follow along and assemble. I did have one bolt that was damn near impossible to get through a hole due to some flashing in the hole causing a blockage. A drill bit and cordless drill was able to clean it out though and then the bolt went in just fine. The only damage was a few swear words. It is possible to assemble it by yourself, I proved that, but moving the box around requires two people or a good hand cart. The fit and finish is excellent but make sure you measure certain parts correctly or things won’t line up properly causing binding that make assembly difficult. It took me a day and a half to put together but I wasn’t trying to go fast. I highly suggest ordering the locking caster wheels for moving it around once you put it together. Once put together, this thing is rock solid. You are going to have to exert unbelievable force on it to get it to flex at all. This will handle any wheel base you can throw at it. I have a bottom mount Moza wheel base so I bought the wheel plate edition, but if you have a side or front mount wheel base you will have far more adjustability with that version. You can set this to any adjustment you can imagine, but you will probably want to get it at your ideal set up and leave it that way as loosening everything to readjust the positioning of the pedal base and other adjustments is just too darn difficult. Seat adjustment and set up is pretty easy though if you have a side mount seat and still pretty easy with other types as well. I haven’t had much time yet to use it yet as I just got it, but so far, I am very pleased with the quality and versatility of this cockpit. Thought long and hard about which cockpit brand to get, almost went Track Racer, but I am glad I got the NLR. And it looks great in the spare bedroom where I am going to be using it.
