Chaos-CTRCTR Mistral Neck/Face Protector

I was training for a Marathon in Knoxville, TN, and it was scheduled for April 3. I began training in December and needed to be prepared for cold runs, so I bought this neck gaiter.It worked very well for me in temperatures as lows as 25 degrees Fahrenheit, which is as cold as it ever got on one of my run days. I only used it completely covering my face for roughly half to 3/4 of a mile until I was warm enough to not need it. I used it almost exclusively for running and would wash it once a week, so roughly 3 runs, then a wash.Been through the wash 4 or 5 times now. There was only one piece of damage. After the first wash, the reflective company logo peeled a bit. I just peeled it completely off myself. It looks cleaner in all black, and there were no loose threads nor was there any diminished functionality throughout the washes.Once it was no longer necessary for runs but still chilly outside, I would also turn down the ear pieces and nose cover into the gaiter and wear it like a snug fitting, athletic infinity scarf. I think I looked fly as hell, but people in Knoxville and the south aren't always the most receptive to men wearing anything resembling a scarf. I'd say give it a go.Bottom line, works well for me in the cold, I'm going to continue to use it every winter, and I think it looks pretty cool as a stand alone fashion item. Just peel off the letters after the first wash.

Works exactly as advertised. From reading other reviews for some reason I was under the impression that there was some sort of mouth flap, but then again I read things way faster than I should. This face mask is easy to slip on and off and also keeps my ears warm when I'm commuting in the cold weather to and from work which is invaluable. The best thing about this is that it doesn't mess up my hair as I was having problems with wearing hats that would mess it up when I was trying to keep my ears warm! There is little slips that hook over your ears to secure the mask in place which is AWESOME, and also the mesh mouthpiece really helps with breathability! It is super lightweight and really keeps me warm when the weather is kicking! I can also easily slip my headphones through the facemask and not worry about the wire getting tangled between the mask and my jacket. Really pleased that I purchased this and my roommate even asked me where I got it and is probably going to get one himself! The only negative thing I have to say about this is when I'm walking the streets in the city people are giving me concerned looks as if I'm on my way to stick up a 7-11.

This thing is worth every penny. It has folds above the ear to keep it in place and to keep the entire ear warm. It has no nose hole like the super jenky rip off ones you see tons of. The mesh where the mouth is allows for the air to flow freely with getting all wet even in -30 degrees.The chin cup portion helps keep the warmer from riding up at interfering with your vision as well. I work outside in BRUTAL winters and this face warmer hasn't let me down once yet and is durable enough to be washed several times a week without falling apart. It even works well with my noise isolating ear phones underneath.If I could change one thing about this item it would be to have the front an back neck portion to be about 3 or 4 inches longer for tucking into outer gear easier. But all and all it's a fantastic product.

I tried many different versions of these CTR Gators that all comprise the same design from this company (3 different versions being the fleece/micro fiber/ and the gator neck with no contour). The Microfiber was the best out of them, because it was not tight, but fit perfect no matter how I moved my face, still was as warm as the fleece version, but not itchy, and has just as much breathing or better than the others. Haven't used with goggles, but still had some breath moisture buildup which I coud offset with letting the mask down every ten or so minutes when exercising (walking up hills). Other than that, the neck was long enough for under coats and it beat all the other 2 in my opinion I tried.AFter some time using, I am using it with a extra thick hoodie and winter jacket, and have no need for a hat even while wearing my over ear headphones in freezing blizzards.

I don't really have any issues with the product, but I really can't see myself wearing it out on the street. I walk to work from the commuter train station in in Philadelphia (~10 blocks). There are cold, blustery days where I thought this would have been useful, so I bought it and tried it the next really windy, cold (~7 degrees F) day. It fit okay and is made well. It was awkward to wear around my neck when I didn't need it (on train) and when I did wear it, my beard and mustache poked out and rubbed awkwardly and my sunglasses fogged up the whole time, even though I breathed though my mouth through the mesh area. Plus, I got all kinds of weird looks like I was a terrorist or something. I imagine I will wear it only when I'm home cleaning snow off of my car or driveway and, preferably, when I'm clean shaven. Probably better for skiing and other winter sports.

Let me start by saying this thing works. I do not know my exact hat size so I bought the S/M and it fit perfectly. I do know that I am in the 7 1/4 - 7 1/2 range(I have an old fitted hat that is 7 3/4 when I had dreads). This is important because it is a slide-on and does not have velcro straps. I like the mesh where the mouth and nose it so that you do not sweat underneath the mask. Another feature that I like is that you can just where it under your chin to protect your neck and you can even slide it up just enough to cover everything under your lips (In case you do not want to look like a robber). Great mask that blocks the wind and allows you to breathe.

Trägt sich sehr angenehm, auch mit Brille, obwohl die tlw beschlägt. Sitz relativ gut mit Fahrradhelm und wird dadurch recht gut gehalten. Mein Problem, Zug im Nacken und folgende Verspannungsschmerzen lindert das sehr gut, auch Fliegen futtert man nicht mehr so fleißig auf dem Rennrad. Atmung ist okay, bessere als mit z.B. Loop. Nähte gut verarbeitet, da drückt nichts. Bin zufrieden...

Ich habe mir die Maske gekauft, da ich auch im Winter mit dem Fahrrad zur Arbeit fahren möchte. Die Maske hält angenehm warm, und das Atmen fällt sehr leicht. Es entsteht keine unangenehme Feuchtigkeit durch die Belüftung, und gleichzeitig ist es nicht zu kalt und man hat nicht das Gefühl, von der Lunge heraus zu erfrieren. Die Maske verfügt in Ohrenhöhe über Laschen. Ob man sich diese über die Ohren stülpen soll, sodass die Maske nicht herunterrutscht, weiß ich nicht. Es dauert ein wenig bis man diese angelegt hat, aber ich habe das Gefühl dass auch ohne diese Halterung die Maske sehr gut sitzt und am Platz bleibt.Ich bin Brillenträger, und die Maske stört nicht beim Tragen. Allerdings beschlägt meine Brille sehr stark, da über der Nase zwei kleine Öffnungen entstehen, durch welche die warme und feuchte Atemluft nach oben gelangt. Ich denke aber dass es kaum eine Maske geben wird, die dieses Problem in mehr oder weniger ausgeprägter Form nicht hat. Ich werde hier also mit Anti-Beschlag Brillenreiniger zu Werke gehen. Zur Info: habe L/XL bei einem Kopfumfang von 59cm gekauft.Alles in allem toller Tragekomfort und wirklich schützend, ohne zu heiß oder zu kalt zu sein.

Ich verwende diese nun seit etlichen Fahrten und konnte in einigen SportLäden eine große Palette an Derivaten Gegentesten. Der Einzigste markante und wohl auch durchgehende Mangel bei solchen Masken ist die Passgenauigkeit... sie rutscht.Wenn man sie einmal richtig über die Ohren gezogen hat hält sie und man kann gut dadurch Atmen.Für Temperaturen unter -10Grad würde ich das Produkt auf Dauer nicht empfehlen, da das Kondensat gefriert und man durch Eis nur schwer atmen kann.Auf Grund der Beschaffenheit solcher Masken ist dies -um auf vorgehende Rezensionen zu reagieren- ab +5Grad nichts für Brillenträger. Aufgrund des Luftstroms beschlägt die Brille bei ersten Anzeichen von Cardio sofort. Wenn man Linsen trägt bzw. erst garnicht darauf angewiesen ist, ist dieses Produkt eine klare Kaufempfehlung.Da ich für einen vergleichbaren Preis keine Konkurrenz finden kann, würde ich dies immer wieder kaufen.

Buscaba un cubrecuello que fuera sujeto con velcro en su parte posterior. Este tiene forma de tubo y por lo tanto no está abierto por detrás. Para mí incómodo, veo más práctico el cierre por medio de velcro, pero es algo subjetivo.La talla que compré, una L/XL, es demasiado grande para mí. Soy una persona de complexion normal.En cuanto a si cumple o no con su cometido, no lo sé. Conforme me llegó y lo ví, gestioné la devolución. Tengo otros más económicos y no encuentro grandes diferencias en cuanto al material técnico.En principio lo compré porque estaba a mitad de su precio, pero tengo claro que por el precio normal no lo compraría ni de coña. Recomiendo otras opciones.

ich finde das ding super. besitze schon die "voll"-variante mit kopfteil dran, was ich schon super fand. da ich das kopfteil allerdings so gut wie nie benutze, mich aber aus kosmetischen gründen stört, wenn ich es als "schal" benutze, habe ich mir die gesichtsmaske nochmal ohne kopfteil bestellt.die einzige kritik die ich äußern könnte, ist dass die maske nach und nach von den ohren rutscht... deswegen ein stern abzug. wenn es meine ohren oder meine kopfform sein sollte, dann sorry dafür.ist auch nicht weiter wild, man muss halt ab und zu "zuppeln" ;)sonst top, hält warm und den wind ab.was das tragen als "schal" angeht... ich schreibe schal nicht ohne grund in anführungszeichen. optisch kann man damit nicht punkten, da es mehr um den hals schlabbert, trotz breitem hals, aber es erfüllt im großen und ganzen seinen zweck...
