Cuckoo Rice Cooker: Cooks Rice Fast & More Tasty
This Cuckoo Rice Cooker is Fantastic, cooks rice quickly and makes even inexpensive rice taste great. A little expensive, but if you eat rice all the time it pays for itself in restaurant savings. They don’t provide a lot of instruction, but using The University of YouTube we figured it out…changing to English Voice, and some cooking modes.

Cuckoo is Cuckoo
Awesome. The manual is totally cuckoo puffs. Takes some serious research to figure it out but I like it. They need to fix idiot manual to plain English. No clue what "tasty, soft, high heat," default settings. Nice machine.

My favorite rice cooker
Amazing rice cooker. If you like Korean style rice, gooey, them this is your cooker! Looks nice, cooks a family sized amount, easy to use, easy to clean, and you don't have to worry about accidentally opening the unit and exploding your whole house. My cousin tried and no problems.

Disappointing Cuckoo
I eat rice almost everyday. My Cuckoo was a little bit over 10 years old and I loved it. So I purchased new one. It was my 3rd Cuckoo rice cooker that I purchased. It looked pretty. When I cook regular mode, rice cooked ok. But when I used turbo mode (fast cook), the rice wasn’t cook enough. I felt 1/3 wasn’t cook. I am so disappointed of this. I am returning it.

Updated review
It's Beautiful! This rice cooker has an excellent sturdy pot with lots of room for larger rice batches. I generally use about 3 gou a day which is above the 2 gou minimum cook of this unit. The voice is quite cute but I prefer that this machine works in stealth mode. Though the price is steep and the instruction manual looks to be done by google translate the simplicity and direct nature works wonderfully. This item is quite large in comparison to the actual cooking pot. As far as cleaning is concerned I'm going to handwash everything with a sponge to protect the coatings. Update=> I've used this for steel cut oats, and it works WONDERFULLY. 1 gou of steel cut oats and this puppy had everything tasting perfectly after 80 minutes. I used to cook these in a slow cooker overnight but this cooker pushed out a wonderfully textured steel cut oats batch with ease. I will note that you should dial the amount of oats in for your intended texture. For my next batch I will probably use more oats per minimum fill in order to get firmer oats but the increase won't be more than 1/8 of a gou ( a couple tablespoons). UPDATE TO THE UPDATE... So YEAH the oats decided to get messy and slimy completely clogging the dewtray.. so the oat cooking days have ended. However sushi rice, mixed beans and rice, bread proofing.... AMAZING. I will say that though cleaning the nooks and crannies can be tiresome the quality of cooking pays into profits... I am so very glad I made this investment.

Quick meals
This rice/ pressure cooker is the perfect small size for quick meals, it’s better quality, all in one pot steamer. Most meals come out within 30 mins. Once you’re use to function and switch over to English everything is easy and you’re ready to go. My husband love the smell of all the delicious food that come out of here.

Rice Cooker
Just the right size for a small family. The functionality is simple, the design is tasteful and it’s a great value for your hard earned money.

This rice cooker is too bulky on the outside, yet the inner pot is too small for its pre-cook 6 cup capacity. It does cook good rice in 18 mins exact but took me a while to figure out due to wrong and confusing instruction manual filled with repeated paragraphs and wrong button to press (eg. page 20 regarding Turbo White Rice). The rice is too compact so that you could eat too much without even realizing it. Price is too high even for an induction model like this since it can only cook in high pressure mode without twin pressure functions. Voice language setup should be on the first page of the instruction manual and default language out of the box is not set to English even when sold in North America. Not suitable for anyone who doesn’t want to research into its functions. Interesting recipes illustrated at the back of the manual but are in Korean only.

Makes rice perfectly in less than 30 mins. More features than I need, but will try brown and mixed rice someday. My only gripe is the menu system is not intuitive so you need to use the manual to figure some settings. Older Cuckoo rice cookers were very easy to use.
