Healthy Hip & Joint Chewable Tablets, GlycoFlex Glucosamine and Green-Lipped Mussel Joint Support Supplement for Dogs, Promote Mobility and Protect Joints, Chicken, 120 Count

I love this supplement. My 10 year old, 55 pound Catahoula dog with two torn cruciate ligaments (one repaired, the other stabilized on its own) started having a hard time getting up from laying down. When I asked a good veterinarian friend of mine what to look for in a joint supplement, she recommended anything with a high green-lipped mussel content. After scouring the internet and comparing supplements, Glyco-Flex had the highest dose of Perna canaliculus that I could find in a supplement and was also one of the cheapest options out there. It's apparently quite palatable, my dog will eat it out of hand. It's vaguely shellfish-y smelling, but not disturbingly smelly. After only a week of use, I noticed my old man was having a much easier time of getting up from his bed and walking up and down the stairs. And after a month on the loading dose, he's playing with my 18-month old puppy like we rolled back the clock about 5 years. Last night was the first time in about a year that I saw him get down in a play-bow repeatedly during a rough and tumble play session. He's also back to bouncing (much to my dismay) when he sees his leash for evening walks. All in all, this is an awesome supplement. It's affordable and it works.

I bought these for my 85 lb, 7 year old German Shepherd because the breed is prone to hip / joint issues. He had not been exhibiting any physical signs of pain, and according to our vet he seemed very healthy (minus some skin / allergy issues). However, with him being my big baby, I bought these as a preventative. I started him on the recommended 2 pill dosage a day, and after the first bottle went down to 1 pill a day. Almost immediately I noticed a difference in his behavior. Suddenly he became a bit more spry, and was jumping on the couch and bed like he used to when he was a puppy. As a result, I'm now tempted to try the level 3 Hip and Joint Supplements to see if they have an even larger impact. I would definitely recommend these for any dog breed that is known to have hip and joint issues, even if they don't appear to be exhibiting any issues. Your dog just may be putting on a tough face!

I liked it before better before they changed the bottle to green label. Now the pills are larger and the portions are different. However, these pills are still greatly effective. Prior to these pills my dog was noticeably limping. I have not seen my dog limping since about a month after she started these pills. The results have been exactly what I hoped for. Definitely recommended.

I was looking for a supplement to help both of my aging Heelers. Dawg, my 11 year old is just showing signs of arthritis. Every now and then I can tell he is in pain with his moaning. Then you have Ladybird, she has a joint problem in her right front shoulder that causes alot of pain and has her limping badly. Sometimes she won't even want to get up. We have a total of four dogs, the Heelers and two mini schnauzers. They are all inside (VERY spoiled) dogs. They are part of our family and there is nothing we wouldn't do for them. When I have one that is hurting, and I can't fix it, it hurts me. They are my babies. I decided to do some research on supplements and chose this one, mainly because I have heard many good things about the Green Lipped Mussel ingredient,which this one has. I was a bit skeptical about it doing what I wanted it to do, but purchased it out of desperation. They will not eat the pills so I have to force them down their throats which works for me, they know when I do this to them that I am helping them, so they bear with it as well. One pill a day for each dog in the morning is all that it takes,thank God because they are huge pills (which is necessary sometimes to get enough supplement in each dose). Two days later both Heelers improved damn near 100%. Ladybird has no limp and runs around again. Dawg our seinor, is also back to running around and dosent moan or look uncomfortable. I am 6'8" and 200 lbs.. and it brought tears to my eyes. I did not expect the results I got, let alone in two days!! I am now a firm believer in this product and it will always have a spot in my dogs cabinet. God Bless Y'all and God Bless America.

Excellent product, allows our 9 year Samoyed to run and play as if he was half his age. He has mild hip dysplasia and suffers from mild pain in his front leg during the winter due to an injury as a puppy (played too hard). Not pleased that the price went up since the last time we bought it, however. (Still cheaper than our vet though)

When my pup stated limping, I knew exactly the product I wanted and from what company. We use to carry this very product, but stopped simply because we didn't sell enough. My vet told me there were only two companies that had 3rd party testing, and this is one! Human vitamins don't have that! Dosing on the side of bottle. It is a scored hard pill that breaks easily, and palatable to my large AND small dogs. This company also makes a soft chew if your dog prefers a soft treat and that is how I use mine, as a treat. This way, they see it as such and it reduces/takes the place of any extra calories. It will all depend on your dogs lameness, severity, age, weight, and actual diagnosis as to the time frame to see if there are any benefits. They also make a product for cats!

My vet originally provided these for my 60 pound English Shepherd for her hip problems. I found this combination (2 pack specifically) saved me the most money. I provide 1 tablet with each meal per my vet's advice. It has made a noticeable difference and most days are now pretty decent for my 6 year old dog. She still has days where she will have a noticeable limp, but this is to be expected given her condition (almost no cartilage in her right hip). She loves them and will eat them first when I put them in her food bowl. They almost smell like green tea. I am grateful for this product as it has clearly made a difference in the quality of life for my child (my dogs are my children)!

My dog has no major joint or hip issues but he can be stiff when getting up and early in the morning. All symptoms disappear when he is on a regular dosage of Glyco Flex 2 - 1 tablet in the morning is all he needs.

Ho visto publicizzato questo prodotto su Cavalierhealth.org, sito che consiglio a tutti i proprietari di Cavalier o a chi desidera prendere un Cavalier , di leggersi bene. Era un po’ di tempo che davo dei condroprotettori al mio CK. Leggendo il sito americano ho visto questo prodotto e ho pensato che magari era già stato testato su questa razza e ho deciso di prenderlo. L’ho trovato su Amazon( dove spero torni disponibile). Per il momento è ben tollerato( prima settimana ho dato metà dose di quella consigliata). Il cane lo vedo più attivo e senza quel tremolio agli arti posteriori. Il prodotto costa rispetto ad altri. Ha tutti gli ingredienti per aiutare le giunture. Le pastiglie sono grandi e vanno spezzate. Io poi le riduco in polvere. Aggiornerò fra un mese con più info.

I have used Glycoflex for two dogs ... for six years for a Golden Retriever who had sufficiently bad hips that she had one replaced and now for a 12-yr-old Corgi with arthritic hip and knee. It seems to help as he no longer struggles to get up from lying down. I wish he could talk!
