Excellent Practice
This is a very practical book that should be a requirement! I gave it to my kids as something to do during the summer to keep their brain fresh. I hope you get one and enjoy as much as we did.

It was my first time purchasing a summer book. I wanted to make sure that I stick to routine learning even during the summer break before college begins. So far this book has done a great job. It is sectioned off by week and day (week one, day one, day two, etc into week two day one..) and everything is already neatly organized for you right there into quick SAT/ACT practice, math, reading, writing, vocabulary, and many more assignments. The book also comes with an access code that unlocks the online program and the weekly online activity. Every week in the book comes with an essay prompt, this has helped me thoroughly to improve my writing skills. This book is a great investment for college readiness.

Well-organized; some answers can be wrong
The book is divided nicely into sections for each day, but there were a couple of answers that had me questioning whether I was right or wrong. I'm pretty sure they made a couple of mistakes such as on pg. 30 - question #2, where it says 65% - 40% = 26% when it is 25%. There was not a choice for 25% which made me really confused.

Great for Summer Learning!
I really liked this College Prep Summer Learning HeadStart Workbook. The brain teasers, essay prompts, educational games, mindmaps, etc kept me thoroughly engaged. It covers all the important topics which a college student will require, starting from Math, Vocabulary, Reading, Writing, SAT/ACT Practice. The weekly competition is something to look forward to.

Keep your student/child learning!
It is nice how the book is broken up into weeks and days. Each day does not have an overwhelming amount of problems. However, if you want more problems you can get them from a website that the book provides. I like how the answer key gives a detailed explanation of why that is the correct answer. It help students understand the reason behind the correct answer. The book also includes test tips and college tips.

Easy to follow and Non time consuming
The work is sectioned into days allowing you to pace yourself and not become overwhelmed the online daily challenge provide a nice extra challenge to sum up that days work.
