Golden Barrel Unsulfured Black Strap molasses, 32 oz

Great tasting molasses! Hard to find black strap locally. Fast delivery and well packaged. Will be getting more shortly. This is the real deal. Has some good bite. Goes great with a cast iron skillet of buttermilk cornbread!

This is good stuff whether you’re feeding your plants or putting it on a hot biscuit.

Value for the money

The product is quite excellent and tastes very good. But the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. When I picked up the jar, there was a ring of molasses underneath it. And when I opened the jar, there was a sticky ring around the rim.

I tend towards being an “ingredients household”, and rather than having to carry both white and brown sugar, I have white sugar and I have this. I add a little to make white sugar into brown sugar. This does make things darker than regular brown sugar would, but that isn’t an issue. It actually adds a sort of exotic ness to recipes. Taste is great.

I often order this molasses for baking purposes. my last order arrived damaged with molasses leaking out of the box . The bottle inside was empty. Unfortunately there are no refunds with this product. I hope this is a one time occurrence.

This jar is open.. it leaked all over the jar.. not happy.. I literally just got it and opened it I only gave it one star because I had to. It would definitely be a negative star.

This makes superior brown sugar, any shade. I keep finding new ways to use it in baked goods
