The bad and good reviews are true...
I wanted to like this product and spent a lot of time on research. I wanted to move towards the open-back style. I have been using the Void Corsairs for a long time and wanted a change or other option to use. The build was nice, it was light and seemed to be made well enough. I bought the set that came with the GSX 300 and H6PRO Open. I used the headphones plugged into the GSX 300.To sum up quickly... kinda haThe headphones squeezed my head and really hurt the area around my ears. I can still feel it I swear and I haven't used them in at least 24 hours. If you wear glasses forget it. My ears are normal size and barely fit in the opening. They had to be in just the right spot. The mic I was told by my friends sounded horrible. The second I got on Discord they all asked what was wrong with my mic, it sounded like S***, I was using a Corsair Void mic before for reference. The reviews about the GSX 300 disconnecting randomly are true. Easly 3 times a day the audio just cuts out and I have to unplug the cord from the back of the GSX 300 and replugin. The software is a joke in my opinion. Changing EQ presets does really not make a difference in the audio. But I will say the audio was nice!! little Bass which I like as I get older. The 7.1 worked well. Overall great sound.I would have kept them ( I Returned them today ) if not for those issues I was having.

Consistently disconnects every 2 hours requiring unplug and replug
**UPDATE**Gave this another try and purchased it again. This time I did not upgrade the firmware and it is working perfectly with no issues. I am wondering if it's a firmware issue or perhaps I got a defective unit. With that said bumping it up, great product despite QC/firmware issues__________________________I have always been an avid fan of sennheiser products, however this was just an absolute disappointment.Previously to this, I tried the h3pro hybrid wireless and had multiple issue with connectivity which led me to opt to this wired option. Much to my surprise, I had similar issues for a wired headset, which I never had in the past.I don't know if this is an issue with the gsx300 or the headset h6pro itself, but it consistently disconnects 2-3 times in a gaming session (4 hrs). The mic also sometimes garbles up and turns into a loud rough robotic voice and causes my friends to mute me as it is unbearable. This also requires an unplug. This issue is absolutely unacceptable for a wired headset and amp, and for this reason I have returned the product. I don't know if this is a QC issue or not, but from checking online forums I am not the only one experiencing this.Truly sad as everything else was perfect about this headset.

Great surround sound, from within a tin can
I purchased the headphone and external sound card as a package, set them up, downloaded the mixing software, and was incredibly disappointed with these headphones. While I did get what I wanted in one way - directional sound - it is sorely lacking in sound quality and sounds like a tin can, or kind of muffled. After trying to adjust the EQ settings, I was unable to achieve any improvement in the sound. I'm returning them

H6 pro and amp aren't that bad if you have the right components
I read the reviews on this pair of gaming headphones and amp I didn't like what was written about them stating that they're not a great headphone and amp combo first off together they're not simply put but I ran my epos amp through my vacuum tube amp then I converted the cable to balanced and I was impressed with the results I am the owner of akg k712 pros k7xx hd6xx hd58x jubilee hd 650 Fidelio x2 and so many others in my collection so I know a good headphone also this epos amp connected beautifully to my ps5 only problem I had is when I turn the system on sometimes I have to unplug the amp then plug it back in to hear anything

Great headset, the DAC not so much!
The headset is very good and when on sale, it's a definite recommendation. However, the issue that everyone is talking about stems from the DAC that is included with this bundle. After a while, it really does turn off on you without any notice. You will have to unplug it and plug it back in to work.I would recommend this headset together with the Syba SD-DAC63057 DAC. I have been using this combo ever since the DAC started to give me issues. It doesn't have the software that EPOS will come with as it's mostly hardware based but I prefer it that way.

Headset is great, soundcard not so much
The headset is wonderful, I highly recommend it. The soundcard started to randomly disconnect - ended up just plugging headset into my motherboard.
