Great value - fitted as direct replacement of the same.
Perfect as use for replacement for existing (poorly installed striker plate which had led to broken latch due to door having to be forced open) lock.The lock case is a standard size with standard spacing for handle holes (existing handles were re-used) with only the need for a re-work of the door frame to fit the new dust box (there was none for previous lock) and the new striker lip plate.I bought when the price had been reduced by almost 50%, so even better value than the usual price.Fitted for my neighbour who is now happier! :-)

Replaced existing lock
The plate through which the locks come was marginally larger than the existing model, so needed a little woodwork, Screws just about in the same place for the door handles. Comes with a box for the locks to close into, which means you do not see any dodgy woodwork. However, that would take a bit of work to make the slot bigger, which will not be straightforward for some.
