I actually think these look pretty good as stone coasters go. The marbling is of pretty good quality. 1. Note that these are absorbent stone, NOT marble. I have marble coasters and I love them, but marble discolors easily. I wasn’t looking for real marble this time and I wasn’t fooled by the description, but someone else might be. Just be aware. 2. I tried ordering a hexagonal set of coasters from a different company at the same time. They both arrived in the same cheap looking… HEXAGONAL holder. That’s right, my circular coasters came stuffed in a tacky holder of the wrong shape, which is why, no doubt, one or two of them arrived lightly chipped on the sides. It’s especially interesting to me that these companies, if they are even more than one rather than one factory selling under multiple names, use the same standard base. And that base doesn’t compare in quality to the coasters themselves.
