JET Air Filtration System, 1-Micron Filter, 1000 CFM, 120V 1Ph (Model AFS-1000C)

I have this hanging in the middle of my shop from the ceiling and it works well. It is pretty quiet. I really like the self shut off timer. It was easy to hang by myself because it is not very heavy. I recommend this for anyone looking for additional air filtration in a shop to capture sawdust and keep the air moving.

This air cleaner Is fantastic!! I use it in my small barn for my goats. I use sawdust bedding and hay which causes a lot of dust. This thing sucks up the dust so well ! It has an Auto setting which allows it to monitor the dust itself, and it does a great job! The moment I pull hay out to feed the goats the auto setting increases it's speed to suck up the dust. Every time my goats play it increases it's speed to suck up the dust, and everytime I clean the barn it increases it's speed to remove the dust. It is very quiet. I love that it is made of vinyl, it makes it very quiet. I love it, and would definitely buy it again.

Works as designed. Very quiet too. Would buy again if it ever stops working.

Easy to set up and clean, lightweight and quiet! Only con: my work involves a LOT of dust being consistently generated and this did not filter the particles in the air as quickly as I thought it would. It would filter them within a minute of no additional dust generation though.

I had a 8-year-old Wen workshop air filtration unit, but it was very loud on high and no auto fan ability. I bought this JET AFS-1000C and the noise is much lower with higher CFMs plus the auto filter powers the fan up when it senses more dust in the air. I have this hanging from the ceiling and the dust in my wood shop is noticeably less.Very happy with this unit so far.

The auto auction is great. It speeds up if I sweep the floor or start an engine. Remote works anywhere in my 30 by 40 shop.. You can hear it on the higher speeds, but don't notice on the 3 lower speeds. For once plastic worked to my advantage as it is fairly light weight was not to difficult to mount 12 ft up in my shop.

This air cleaner is well made and a good design. I especially like automated fan speeds that change depending on amount of dust in the air. I wish I would have bought an air cleaner a long time ago!

I really wanted to like and appreciate this machine. When I first got it up it was great. Then I came out to the shop one day and it would not start for me. It had A3 and A8 codes on its screen. There are no codes listed in the manual, and even to this day Feb/2025, there are no code definitions to be found anywhere. Calling Jet was useless. They suggested I disconnect the motor from the control board module in order to determine if it was the motor or the board. I asked then why the codes…..crickets… then the response was we can’t tell if it’s the motor or board. The control board module number that is listed in the diagram of the manual is not to be found anywhere, include with Jet. The “possible” control board module ( afs1000cdm7) is $495 from e replacement parts, but they can’t be sure it’s the right one. So, I have learned my lesson. No more Jet for me. Poor quality machine. Poor quality customer service, and zero help. I now have a non functioning $500 piñata of an air filter hanging in my shop.
