ScharBread Deli Style, 8.5 Oz (Pack Of 5)

This is the best bread I have ever used - It makes great toast and grill cheese or just a sandwich for lunch- I try not to tell too many people because when I go to the store I'm always hoping there will be some left for me, if they are out I order more on Amazon.

Most gluten free bread is pretty bad. Schar's Deli style bread is actually really good! ANd a mormal sized slice. the downside is you only get 5 slices in a package, but it's so much better than the other options that I don't care.One note, it says it's "Deli Style Sourdough" but it's not. It's really like a rye. A pretty good rye. :)

This is (easily) the best gluten free bread I have ever found. I got pretty good at baking my own but this Schar Deli Style bread is perfect. I highly doubt anyone would know it was gluten free if you didn't tell them. But then again, I haven't had bread with gluten in a long time & even when I did, I never ate the super soft sandwich bread. At any rate, I think it's incredibly good. Additionally, every Schar product I have tried has been excellent. This is a great company!

The bread is good and I have been ordering this for a long time. However, the packages of bread in my last order arrive squished in a bag; should be in a box, bread is not a garment.

Only gluten free bread I will eat. Tastes and has texture like regular rye bread.

I am revising my review because the Schar website has now blocked me and I can't order directly from the company. That is a very terrible way to deal with unhappy customers, but probably effective.Original Review: They sent the WRONG item and the return it NOT easy. The only way to get a refund is for me to drive far out of my way to a store I never go to in order to make the return. I am very unhappy about this. I cannot even use the item that was sent because of allergies.

We bought 2 cases of this bread because we love it so much. Unfortunately when we opened the second case there was a package of bread that had gotten damaged and exposed to the air. It was moldy to the point of liquefying. This product is very expensive (worth-it when not moldy). Each slice of bread costs $1.25. So the package that was moldy was a $6.00 loss. There should be some way to get a replacement or a reimbursement. So in the future-I will open and check the individual packages.
