I am on a mission to find wide calf reinforced ball work sock. These are reinforced at the heel and toe which add comfort, they're breathable, they retain their shape and haven't shrunk. overall, pretty good quality but they are not wide calf socks so I will keep looking.

I wear my socks for about 15hrs a day and go though them frequently. So I need something not only durable but, breaths as well. I've had these for a couple mths now and so far they have been holding up well. They are durable and don't seem to be wearing or tearing from my boots. They are not to thick, so they allow my feet to breath a bit. Which is nice at the end of the day when I take my shoes off and my feet aren't sweaty and itchy. My only complaint is they are a bit tight. Not so tight that they are restrictive or painful, but just a bit tighter than I like. More of a personal preference My socks usually last about 3 - 4 mths, so we will see how the next couple mths go.

These socks are soft and just what I needed. It is pricey for sure, but what Carhartt item isn't? Carhartt, though, is a high-quality brand, so I'll pay the extra for it.

Great fit , last long, no sweat

The socks are lower calf socks. They do feel nice I think for walking in, and they do well for not sliding down. What they do not do well is that everything sticks to them and it's a real pain to get fibers and twigs and slivers of wood/fibers out of them. From walking around and some wood fibers got in my boot and I thought for sure it was going to pull the threads out since they were stuck so well in the fabric. If your wearing these for dress socks or in a very clean environment (such as not having kids) then they might be OK. But if you have kids that play outside then these might end up being something to pass on. My guess is that they made these out of synthetic material to make them not fall down the calves, and that they do very well. If you got big calves you might want to pass on them as they fit very snugly.

I bought these as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. They are thick and warm, and he loved them. I think they're a little overpriced for the few pairs they give you but what isnt overpriced these days lol They are durable. We wore them to a football game and it was 20°F outside and we were there for 4 hours. Towards the end of the game my feet started getting cold, but I was impressed at how warm they stayed.

Great socks for hikes or working in boots. Comfy, thick on the bottom, and quick to dry.

I originally purchased these socks locally, and couldn't find them again when I wore them out. Tried other socks and just didn't like them as much as these so I came to amazon. Great socks, they're light and don't feel thick on your feet. I bought the large for my size 9.5 feet and they fit perfect. Any bigger than a size 10 and you might want to consider purchasing the XL rather than the L. If you're looking for a good indoor sock I would highly recommend these. However, they're not super warm and if you intend on wearing them in cold weather or if insulation is important to you I'd suggest looking for a thicker pair.
