I gave this bike lock to my friend to be able to lock up his bike in his drive way so we can sneak out at night. I'm going to be entirely honest the second I picked up this lock I wanted one for myself. It works how it should of course, its pretty small, it looks great, the locking methods are standard, It's not to thick or durable but it certainly gets the job done and is plenty worth the price tag.

Great bike lock. Very easy to change the combination which was a relief we also use to scooter to get to HS where there are daily thefts and this lock had prevented my scooter from being stolen all year. I just keep it hanging from my break wire which hasn't caused any issues. Would recommend this lock for anyone with scooter.

While the lock is super easy to use and convenient, it is extremely low security. Within two weeks of using this lock for brief stops, the lock was cut. If your use case is low security (e.g., brief stops of worthless bike), this might be okay but otherwise I’d invest in a U-lock. Great deal for the price though (but a stolen bike is pretty expensive so you may want to factor that in).

The media could not be loaded. My intuition ( I hate to say ) is usually pretty spot on .My son had purchased 2 of these . One for me and one for himI just texted him and told him to just buy another .I don’t want him to go through what I went through last night .Used this 4 or 5 times .The combination worked every time until it didn’t .Thank God I was at a place where they could give me some wire cutters .If I was in the city or someplace else ? Yeah I’d be screwed .The crazy thing ?? I had a feeling that was going to happen .Unbelievable!!So spend the extra money on something better - reliable.What an inconvenience

Works perfectly for my sons bike! He doesn't have a problem using it and the code was easy to change from factory settings

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was the cheapest bike lock on Amazon. I bought it for my kids to lock their bikes for short periods of time. It is lightweight and easy for them to carry and use -- perfect for the purpose. I wouldn't recommend for overnight use, expensive bikes, or anything other than a deterrent. Note that the guts of the lock are plastic -- won't rust but I'm not sure how strong if someone were really determined to break the lock.
