I made a mistake of ordering "oily" version of tur dal. Out of all tur dals I chose the one I did not want at all. Never knew such thing existed. Not only it is oily but cotton seed oil is used here which is not good at all, actually really harmful for health. PLUS, nowhere in the product description it is said that this item is not eligible for return. Now, after ordering 2 packages of 8lbs and paying $40 I am going to throw all this away. No return, no exchange, no contact info about seller. I order a lot from Amazon and I thought it does things properly. Apparently not. I am really sorry I ordered. UPDATE I am sorry I wrote such a review, I after all made a mistake. Not sure what rating to give to a product as I do not know how to cook it and I would not buy it at all because of cotton seed oil. But it came in very good condition. I found the seller on their own website and talked to them and they offered me to send it back for a replacement. But it is too expensive to send back 16lbs. So, maybe I will give it away to some Indians that we have in town. Sorry for bad review. Hope, this explanation helps.
