Purchased this because sewing isn’t my forte- but I had a few items with small seems that ripped. After mastering just how to use this fabric tape, it was easy. I let the shirts wait 48 hours before laundering and they’ve held up well. Today I did a seam on stretchy leggings- I can’t even see where fixed it! ‘The adhesion is top notch thru multiple washes- it’s a great value for the amount of strips you get! Definitely recommend! Very light weight-you will forget where you used it- it looks that good!

I ordered this to hem my skirt and it worked perfectly. Application was smooth for the most part. It started to not stick to some of the fabric but it has held up perfectly for these past couple of months. I have washed the skirt many times and the tape has not come loose or fallen off.

For some reason, all the pants I buy for my daughter are always way too long. I’m not very talented with a thread and needle so I was looking for an alternative way to hem. These worked great. They’ve survived many washes on several pairs of pants with no sign of wearing off. I loved that these were pre-cut and fairly easy to use, however it took a few times to get the hang of using them without peeling off the sticky layer

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I needed to fix a shirt that I love I was torn and I couldn't use iron on patch, an it on was what caused the tear Adhesion: Perfect. I didn't know there was a product like it.

I don't have a sewing machine, so these strips are perfect for hemming my pants. The strips are super sticky, so plan ahead where exactly you want to put them because they will not come off. Even after multiple washes, the strips still work on pants.

These are extremely sticky, which is good for the mending for which I employ them, but nearly every strip has partially adhered to the backing at some point such that when removing it some of the adhesive stretches, occasionally making the strip unusable. It is possible that I received a package—my first so far—that had been exposed to too much heat, either in someone's warehouse or whilst being delivered—I don't think the package spent much time outside between delivery and being brought inside—or it could be that 3M need to work on an even slicker backing for these strips. Along the same lines: the second bit that covers the strip exactly, making it somewhat difficult to remove the strip cleanly from the backing. If these 'fronting' pieces were slightly larger than the strip by even a couple of millimeters it would be much easier to remove them and the adhesive strips without compromising the adhesive,as ling as they were slightly less slick than the backing. Finally, an R.F.E.: I'd really like to be able to buy a single-sided mending-tape made of a thin fabric backed with the same silicone[?]/adhesive used in these strips; such would be much easier for me to use , and I'll guess that I'm not the only one using these strips to make mine own but would prefer the convenience of a pre-made version.

Best thing I ever purchased!!! 1000% recommend.....I have used it in so many dressy pants for my daughter. You can't even tell. You can wash multiple times and it does not come apart.

I purchased to reinforce the seams of a linen dress. It saved the dress. I love linen but seams get compromised due to the light weight of linen. I am really pleased. I buy a lot of linen and this will help me keep it in good condition.

I ordered this product because I did not want double-sided stick. All the others ads said double-sided, this one didn't. It's double sided. Disappointed. Not worth returning. Might be useful for something sometime.
