iFixitPrecision Electric Screwdriver - 4mm Bit Cordless Driver for Electronics, Computer, Phone Repair

Used this on rebuilding my HOTAS set-up, it worked good, did not over torque the fasteners. Put it down for a week and went to use it again, it did not work. Changed the batteries and it worked. This item is not worth the time to remove batteries to save them or to keep buying batteries every time I need to use it. Went back to my iFixIt analog driver.

UPDATE: I decided to contact iFixit for the heck of it. I like what they're about, and I don't want to let that image die.I told them my experience (below), and they immediately sent me two new ones. Plus they threw in stickers.I understand products can be faulty. When a company stands behind their products, this is something I appreciate. I'm assumming these new drivers will work fine. It's true that they have low torque, but IMHO screws in electronics are not tightened with a torque wrench. I believe it applies sufficient torque for electronics repair. I wouldn't use it for locking down lug nuts on on your stock car before exiting the pit thoughI had the impression that iFixit was a quality brand. I have one of their kits and am happy with it. But this screwdriver is a disappointment.You can see in my video that it doesn't have enough torque to overpower my fingers. And no I'm not Bjørn, the finger strength world champion for Norway.And after maybe 5 uses, the reverse just stopped working.

Es perfecto para desarmar computadoras y dispositivos electronicos pequeños, darle servicio a laptops, no tiene mucho torque el motor lo que evita que se dañen los postes donde se sujetan los tornillos.

Great electric screwdriver but I do wish they would give at least 3 to 5 driver bits cause it comes with none.Also it’s uses triple A batteries.

I read the reviews and do a lot of work on computers. I thought this would be great... it is neat, but you can't use it on bolts tightened beyond finger tight. Way too weak. Understand I do a lot of electronic work with delicate tolerances, and it is still too weak in tightening and loosening.I wish there was a way to lock it to get the bit to lock for the initial or final tightening.
