I wear them with boots and like the quality, absorbency without being to bulky. I can wear them in both the winter to keep my feet warm as well as the summer to keep them dry from sweat. Love this brand!

Okay, I have 6 pairs of Fox River's Fatigue Fighter, over the calf socks and I can't yet get myself away from wearing those. I bought these on a whim, since I do wear safety toed boots at work and these were touted by FR for steel toes. Anyways, I have been wearing thes the past few days and nights and I am totally sold on them, even though I've yet wore them with boots. Reason is that they're so darn comfortable and cozy to wear around the house. They fit well, I ordered large and I am a USA 10.5 EE and these fit me perfectly. Slightly above mid-calf, I am 5'10". No sagging from the top down to the ankles. The the overall snugness from toe to heel feels just right to me. I changed them out this AM when I left to go run errands, putting on some Skecher's socks to wear with my walking shoes and that is where the comfort of these socks hit me. I felt very naked and unprotected with the Skecher's socks on, a difference of night and day to me. Eventually they will take me for a ride in my work boots, but for now, they're taking care of me at home. There is noticeable padding in the toe caps and along the heel, so they will definitely wear well in boots all day for sure. Two pair at $22.00 is a steal for FR socks :)

These have to be the most comfortable socks I’ve ever owned and if you have any type of reinforced or steel toe, you will love these.

My son actually wears these and is horribly hard on socks. These have lasted a year and do not shrink in the dryer. We ordered him more recently.

I've worn these for probably four or five years now. They are fairly thick and provide good cushioning and warmth. I originally got them because normal thickness socks were not sufficient for all the walking I do, and not only did those socks wear out but I had a lot of rough skin / calluses. These socks largely fix that problem. However, I walk about 10-15 thousand steps per day, with about 60% of that indoors in my sockfeet. That's hard on socks, and these stand up for a while, but definitely not forever. I get about 18 to 24 months out of these before there's a hole in the heel. Which is about the best I can do, without paying a ridiculous amount of money for a single pair of socks. These are reasonably priced, cushiony, and stand up to that level of walking for a reasonable amount of time.

I have reordered these socks numerous times. My husband has a hard time finding thick, comfortable socks to wear with his work boots. Size description is accurate. Will continue to order these socks.

Comfortable l, lots of cushion, no more sore feet. So far they are holding up

These socks are titled as "women's large." But they are not. There really are no different women's and men's sizes. "Women's large" is just "large," which is men's large. So be prepared for larger sizing than you expect based on the title.
