I'm here to echo some of the other reviews. I received the machine yesterday, and sooon after setting it up, I literally hugged it. Like the fellow who said he was brought to tears -- it's really true. This battleship of a keyboard makes such beautiful sounds. I'm not saying this out of some Moog fetish. Once you play this, there's just no reason to mess with other hardware synths. One can create incredibly complex tracks on a computer; but for beautiful analogue tones, this is the pinnacle. Turn up the on-board delay, connect a Ventris, and melt.

All of the Moog-y goodness in a beautiful and compact package. No, it’s not a 37 and it lacks a few features from its bigger brother, but integrated into a studio with other gear and midi/CV automation, it does everything it needs to do and more. Sounds great and it’s the only monosynth I’m keeping for now (as a polysynth person). I also love that it “cheats” on mono with paraphonic 2-voice capabilities. I use that functionality a lot, and I didn’t expect to when I bought it. For what it is, there’s nothing to complain about. Some people might want an arp, a sequencer, or an additional LFO, but I can work those angles from my other gear and make it do what I want!
