I snowboard a lot and this is the best product I've found. Excellent protection from the sun, wind, and cold that doesn't cause blemishes, or make you look pasty. It goes on nice and easy. Pretty much perfect imho. The container is even easy to slip into a pocket snowboard pants pocket.I MUCH prefer this formulation to the other dermatone SPF 23 product.

Very hard to find good Zinc Ox lip sunscreen. Container is goofy but functional and the contents work better for cycling or skiing than anything i have ever used.

Use it nordic skiing and cycling it's essential for me when temps below 20F or when it's windy and below 30F. Also great for sun protection.

Dermatone is legendary among skiers- it's simply the best. Protects skin from the sun AND frostbite- what more could you want?

not sure if the hype on the hormones is true so can't speak to that part. While this product has indeed kept my face from burning, it's quite greasy and not the best if you want to wear make up over it which I did on our trip. I used facial papers to sop it up some which worked ok but still greaser than I would have liked and not sure if that changed the effectiveness. Does smell nice though and it's in a convenient container that fits right in my make up case. A small amount of this stuff goes a long way, bit still sorta expensive for the amount provided.
