There is a slide switch that you select 110 or 220 volt on the outside end of the motor. Remove the plastic cover by the two screws.

why won't this product be delivered to California?

Because California has ultra stupid laws. Probably something related to prop 65

what products can be used as threaded male adapters on the 2 ports on the pump?

The pump has 1 1/2 inch female threads for the inlet and outlet, and also comes with with 2 fittings which also adapt it to pvc pipe or spa tubing, I believe 1 1/2 inch as well,

Who do I contact about warranty? My motor is making a grinding noise after having just purchased beginning of the season.
