If you're thinking about buying this, DO IT.I had been wanting it for a while but waited until my rotary grater broke to finally purchase it, and honestly I wish I had just done it sooner! It's so much easier and takes almost effort on my part. It's not quite as fast as those rotary graters where you spin it yourself, but again, this is significantly less effort than those. If you're someone who uses fresh shredded cheese often, it is 100% worth purchasing.The only issue I've had is occasionally some cheese getting stuck in between the grater and the piece that holds it, but that's a price I'm willing to pay for the overall convenience of this. I've had it for a few months now and it's held up very well with regular use. It's much safer than regular graters and thanks to the pieces you use to push the cheese down with, there's no having to worry about sliced fingers.Overall this is just a very good product and worth every penny. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking about purchasing!

So, my house doesn't buy shredded cheese, something about wax and wood puld always turned me off of the stuff. Once a week, we would grate a block of cheese and bag it.My wife asked for a crank one and I was onboard, if you have ever grated a knuckle when doing it old school, you know the struggle is real. Me being me... If I'm going to buy a new one for convenience, what is more convenient than hitting button and just pushing it through! If you have a KitchenAid mixer and grate cheese, even just once a month... Spend the extra coin and get this puppy.I see more homemade pizza nights in our future..

Love these attachments! I kept cutting my fingers on the manual mandolin, so when I got this, life was better. Shredding and slicing are great, my fingers are safe from the blades, and I saved to box for ease of storing the pieces after use.Happy to spend that kind of money on something like this.

For a family who grates a lot of cheese, I would recommend this. It is easy to use and does a good job by grating fresh cheese.My only complaint is that a small amount of cheese will get stuck on the outer wall and will not grate. This is not a deal breaker but a minor issue. I do not mind the cleanup, but you cannot run in the dishwasher and must clean by hand. It is not recommended to run underneath the faucet.

Great addition to my mixer. I liked my slicer so much, I bought one for each daughter-in-law. Easily slices and shreds whatever you feed through the chute.

I was in the market for a cheese shredder and stumbled across the gem. Not only did it make shredding cheese a breeze, but it has been fun using it to slice and spiral other veggies as well! Clean up is quick, and storage is easy.
