Love this cooker. Worth the money if you want a stainless steel cooker.
LOVE this cooker! I use it all the time. Does everything...roasts, sears, saute, rice, etc. Love that's it's stainless steel, that was the main reason I bought it.

Great product
This worked well for me over the last holiday. I slow cooked a turkey breast and appreciated that I could use my meat thermometer through a hole without lifting the lid. If I want a hotter temperature I change to a different function for a while and then go back to slow cook. I wish it had a warm function like most crock pots have now. I wanted stainless steel so I’m happy with it.

Lack of transparency
I purchased this product due to its stainless steel inner pot. I wanted to get away from toxic non-stick coatings etc. I was so excited to find this product but once it arrived the Prop65 warning was right on the box warning me of lead. I went to their FB page to find others had been concerned about the same issue. Another buyer was told that the inner pot was actually aluminum and not 304. I emailed Housnat and they explained the lead was supposedly in some internal wiring components and was not exposed to food. They stated the pot was 304 however when I asked about the origin of the 304 they did not answer. Buyer beware, transparency is lacking and giving me red flags. I would not want to chance it that this was produced with 304 with Chinese origin. It’s well known stainless with Chinese origin has a high potential for contaminates such as lead. No thank you, I’ll be returning.

Excellent for making yogurt!
Love this cooker, purchased to make homemade greek yogurt (reason for the 4 stars, the yogurt settings work well, minus a small issue with occasionally needing to reset -cancel and restart the process between the boil and processing stages- the control but otherwise it works great) and it hasn't failed me yet! Also, the reason for my purchase is the metal liner is safer at controlling other bacteria growth which might interfere with the yogurt cultures and easier to clean properly.

Works great! Easy to clean and store. Absolutely worth it.
Great slow cooker. Easy to use. Very high quality. Cleanup is easy as the insert (that is very strong) comes out smoothly.

Love with caution/injury potential
This slow cooker works great. Used it to make a number of things since I got it a week ago. Did slow cooked ham shanks and pinto beans, on low, without opening the lid, and they were perfectly done in 4 hours. I checked the temp on it with an instant read and all areas of the pot were within one or 2 degrees, which I consider to be equal temperatures. I made a beef and badmati rice dish. Turned out perfect. Used it to make German Ham Hocks and Ham Shanks in a braising liquid. Also perfect. So, the pot functions very well, very responsive when changing modes and temperatures. I love this slow cooker for how well it works. It has a small footprint, so, I use it inside a shallow stainless steel square pan that covers 2 of my gas stove burners. It's quite save, because you can't accidentally turn on the burners. The rim of the inner, stainless steel cooking vessel is easy to wipe clean when you open the lid to check things, when you are not slow cooking, before putting the lid back on. Incidentally, I like how big the vent hole is. That allows you to NOT open the lid, but, instead, stick your instant read temperature probe through the vent hole and into your food. Great idea there. Those were the pros of this slow cooker. Now, for the "with caution" cons of the slow cooker. Look at the picture of the lid, at the screws. See that bit "of white" there? It is paper towel that ripped off the piece of Brawny paper towel I was drying the lid with. I repeated the action a number of times Each time the paper towel went over the screws, there was paper towel ripped off and in the screws. Finally, I gently brushed my fingertips over the screws. They ARE jagged and sharp. Clearly enough to injury your skin if you accidently rubbed across it with skin instead of the wash sponge or drying towel. I am super dissatisfied with that. ALSO, on the inside, underneath, rim of the cooking vessel, at each handle, are the twp screws holding on each handle. When pushing my paper towel around that channel, the 4 screws are also rough and could cause injury if caught just right. For most people, neither the rough screws in the lid nor the rough screws at each handle would be a problem. BUT, for older people whose skin has become more thin or fragile, and, for those on Blood Thinners, a scrape against those rough screws can be a real problem. Quite frankly, for a sliw cooker costing well over $100.00, I fully EXPECT all parts to be free of rough screws, sharp burrs, or any other negligent craftsmanship. The stainless steel cooking vessel IS thinner than it should be. I think that is why it has bluish and hazy looking discoloration marks in the curve of the bottom where it becomes the side of the vessel. It is easy to clean FOOD and grease off when you wash the vessel. BUT, it us quite impossible to remove those blueish and hazy white discolorations. Which means that the beautiful stainless steel is NO LONGER beautiful, shiny, stainless steel after cooking in it only 3 times. Again, at over $100.00 for this item, I expect better craftsmanship. I would recommend this slow cooker but recommend CAUTION when handling the lid or under the rim at the handles when cleaning to prevent injury.

Easy to use and light weight
I love all the functions on this cooker. The stainless steel pan is light weight and easy to clean. I don’t have to worry about breaking it while washing it in the sink. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a non ceramic crock pot.

Excellent addition to our kitchen for superb slow cooking!
We have always had crockpots with porcelain pots but they tend to crack and/or chip so we never really cared for those. Then there are the pots that have the "non-stick" coatings but you can scratch those. Now there's concern that these scratches allow the non stick coating to impregnate the food and that it is unhealthy. So we wanted a crockpot with a stainless steel pot. That was extremely hard to find until we came across this HOUSNAT Multi Cooker. We ordered it just because it had a stainless steel pot for cooking. And are we glad we did. Following the directions in the recipe book that came with the cooker has made it easy to prepare chicken, rice and a roast. We've used it to bake, steam and stew. Minor adjustments were required but the times listed in the instruction manual/recipe book were very close which made adjusting very easy and straight forward. We highly recommend this multi cooker for anyone wanting to move away from the traditional porcelain pot or coated cooking surface.
